Distilled Waters Run Deep Posted December 18, 2008 Share Posted December 18, 2008 I've had as good a look on my Jackal as I can for the diagnostic LED -the plug to put it to, from the ECU, is there, but I don't know where the LED is hiding or if it's on these models. I have a separate 12v LED I've used to connect to the diagnostic on my car, with a couple of earths, a B+ & FEN -does anyone know which wires to connect to which pins? fotoguzzi Posted December 18, 2008 Share Posted December 18, 2008 I don't think the 15m CPU (under left side cover) has a trouble code light and that might be what you have.. the p8CPU from the '98 EV has said code light under the left side cover or under the seat near the CPU that rides under the passenger seat. the 15m CPU needs a computer connection to read faults etc. the plug you refer to would then go to the computer that has the vdst software.
