SBJ Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 Mine moves backwards and forwards a little bit as if the mounting bolt has worked loose resulting in this play. Should it do this? Hs it shaken loose a little and the bolts need tightening up, or is it designed to do this. Sorry if indeed it is a stupid question but it is new to me and I have only just taken delivery of it. Tom M Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 Congrat's on your beautiful new bike! The mount that screws into the lower triple clamp has a lock nut on it. If that comes loose the mount might move side-to-side a little bit. Make sure that lock nut is tight. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
