Original soft bags, any good?

Anybody know if these are any good? I asked if they come with raincover, and seller claim that they are waterproof.

The original V11 Sport bags were made by Tekno and these look the same. Mine were waterproof via an inside lining. After a number of years, that lining has worn out and I do not consider the bags waterproof (plastic garbage bags are now the norm). The website with these bags doesn't seem to mention any kind of mounting hardware though so I would think it would be wise to check if they have the actual mounts intended for a V11 Sport type frame. If they don't, you might find the hardware on eBay or somewhere but they're getting scarce. They could be re-created by any competent welder though if you have some to use as a pattern.

You can also download the catalog of the entire line at Bags & Bike but I don't see any mention of mounting hardware there either.

Actually you can find three kind of bags for V11:

Hepco & Becker (the one I have): 287 euro the frame (side and top frame), 210 euro for the Junior Bags rigid 30lt. (http://neu.hepco-becker.de/Web/index.html)

Tekno bags: bags with internal frame 38lt extended (cod. BRG11) 254,09 euro, (SRG11) Euro 102,25 for the side frame. No top frame. (http://www.dragonemotorcycles.it/index.html?target=dept_142.html&lang=it)

Bags-bike: they sell exactly the same bags as tekno I think, but don't have pics. Don't know the price as they didn't told me. (http://www.bags-bike.com/)

Why did I choose Hepco?

Because of the top frame, otherwise it is better Tekno.

Why better Tekno than Hepco?

Hepco is big and needs a little cut of the mudguard. I don't like to cut anything on my bike. Next, blinker's older sits upon the rear light.

Tekno is a light seeing, no cuts required.

I haven't seen these bags for a V11 before - they are NOT the original soft bags, but look similar in design. I'd want to make damn sure they are for the Sport (with the angular design, looks like they are designed to fit above the exhaust) - and NOT the V11 cruiser, and also that hey have the right mounts. Just searching under "V11" can produce results for either bike. These aren't cheap - I'd see what else is available. I've got the factory soft bags and also a Ventura setup, and both work fine, but not like a pair of factory hardbags would. If you are going on long weekends, just about anything will work - but if you are looking at frequent overnight travels, or more than a week on the road, I'd suggest the Hepco hard bags. Not the greatest looking, but they work very well.
