Service Manual for a Coppa Italia

I have recently added a Coppa Italia to my stable and am seeking out information on Service Manuals.

After scanning and researching I have found nothing that is specific to the Coppa Italia; there are numerous offerings for "V11 Sport" manuals and for some of different variants of that model.

The Coppa Italia has several feature on it that are specific to that bike....such as the "racing ECM" and the Ohlins suspension. Is there a manual that would provide the technical information to cover this bike? In looking at the list of changes to the V11 from 2000 thru 2005 I see there are numerous changes.........not only in appearance but in pistons, compression, valve adjustments, frame, rake angle, etc.

What should I look for to cover the 2004 Coppa Italia? Are there service manual supplements to cover specific variations of the V11? Or is there specific and dedicated service manuals for each bike?

Is the electrical schematics and troubleshooting included in the Service Manuals or are there supplimental electrical manuals to cover the different variations of the V11 models?

Does anyone know of a good source to obtain the manual I am seeking?

Thank you in advance for any and all information.

Hi Steve,

There's a manual that covers the Ohlins equipped models. It's titled V11 Sport Workshop Manual, dated 04/03. It's not as comprehensive as the V11 Sport Workshop Manual that's dated 03/01 but if you have both you will have enough information to work on your Coppa.

Tom M.................thank you for the information regarding the service manuals. I'm keeping a lookout for the manuals you suggested.

Chuck..................No; this is not Derecks bike. I am new here to this site as well a being a Moto Guzzui owner so I don't know Dereck.

I'm new to Moto Guzzi; but not new to motorcycles. Purchased my first bike in 1962 when I was 14; since then I've gone through every brand/style that is out there I belive. Most of what I own right now are BMW's, but I've tried them all.

I have taken a real liking to the Coppa Italia.......the first time I saw a photo of the bike I said to myself "now there is a bike that has real character and soul". There is nothing out there right now that holds my attention; the new bikes are well engineered and powerful but just do not have the "character" I seek in a bike.

Once again..........thanks for the information.

Welcome to the forum Steve. Be sure to post up some pics on the Coppa registry.
