...damn, that's bummer news. As a fellow enthusiast, it sure brings it closer to home...

Never knew Slav the man but my respects to him and his close ones - he died in the

pursuit of how he chose to live his life. Is there a better way to go, if go we must?

Life is not a journey to the grave

With the intention of

Arriving safely in a pretty

And well preserved body,

But rather to skid in broadside,

Thoroughly used up,

Totally worn out,

And loudly proclaiming,

WOW !!!! What a ride!

... sounds like Slav would agree...

  • 3 weeks later...

That is very sad, he was a true gentleman.

A couple of years back when I was doing research on the Ducati Energia voltage regulator failure Slavomir sent me

a couple he had lying around.

I was so touched that someone would take the time and effort to send some old junk

half way around the world that I cut the mailing address off his parcel and glued it to my wall.

Very, very sad news. Slav was extremly helpful and patient in all the questions he answered for me through the forum. He came across as a guy you thought you could really be friends with, in all his posts.

You will be missed Slav, thanks for all your help !

Enjoy carving up those clouds mate !

Aw crap... :(

Slavomir was one of the people who really made this forum feel like a local hangout full of friends, not some bedlam nuthouse full of strangers like so much of the rest of the interweb... He will be missed.

L'asfalto e poi nulla...
