docc
Maybe this will prompt Piaggio/Moto Guzzi to get on the stick a build the 3 cylinder diesel military bike that Carcano thought should be their next move. Link to comment
luhbo
You see 3-cylinder Diesel conversions based on Triumph frames from time to time, at least over here. They mostly use Italian industry implants, also Daimler SMART engines are a good fit. This gives very nice bikes, not the fastest, though, but for every day use on country roads this concept is long overdue. Hubert Link to comment

luhbo
Not an illness like that. A motorbike, 60 Diesel HP, 4 gears. You wouldn't want anything different once you rode one (I guess ). Hubert Link to comment

Admin Jaap
FWIW. A couple of years ago we had a small Dutch bike manufacturer that produces the Track diesel all road adventure bike. With a Smart engine. Sadly it was too expensieve to become a success. They have stopped production, but they Will start up when they find investors, afaik. http://www.dieselmotorfiets.nl Link to comment
