stewgnu
Hi All, can someone tell me how to remove the angled nipple from the top of the master cylinder? I thought maybe it’d pull out? Cheers Stew
stewgnu
Circlip under the rubber?
Steve S
Hi Stew I didn't know the answer to this so I went and dug out a spare one and with a bit of persuasion and wd40 the plastic bit pulls out of the rubber, used 2 screw drivers 1 each side
stewgnu
Ah! Cheers Steve, thought i’d ask first as i was reluctant to force it. Are they available to get separately do you know- mine is damaged.
stewgnu
Or alternatively, can i buy your old one?
MartyNZ
You can buy the bits at https://www.stein-dinse.biz/Complete-partlist/Unsorted/Plastic-angle-90-GRAD-hand-and-rear-master-cylinder::227475.html I bought one from Moto International, along with the rebuild kit 110436292. . BTW, brake fluid or brake cylinder assembly lubricant is best for lubricating brake hydraulic system parts. Scud did an excellent test which shows that WD-40 swells brake system rubber parts. http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19330
