Tyre pressures (groan)

Look I'm really sorry to open up this thread again but ever since I downloaded a manual for my 2001LeMans (thanks guys) I was shocked to see that Moto Guzzi recommend 2.2/2.4 bar (32/35psi) for my Bridgestone 020's. Now Bridgestone recommend for my LeMans 2.5/2.9 (36/42) according to their website, and that is what I used from day one. I have since completed several runs at the lower pressures and know which I prefer. But these are two reputable manufacturers with very different recommendations :o I'm sure you guys can explain what's going on.. I can hardly believe it

Cheers

Steve

no mysytery. The higher pressures from the tire manufacturer will keep the tires intact longer :luigi: and the lower pressures of the bike manufacturer will keep the bike intact longer. :bike:
