gstallons Posted May 11 Posted May 11 This comes under the tax portion of the conversation : used to people would get their furniture across the river in Cairo , have it delivered to Ky and pay for the furniture here and no sales tax was collected because the transaction took place out of state. Now IIRC eBay and similar entities could only collect sales tax if it was delivered in State from seller to buyer. IDK if this rule still holds true or not.
