Dave,

I'm not getting on as much as I as I used to, sorry for the slow response.

Anyway, looking at the pictures of Duchess brought a tear to my eye. We lost our female Greyhound, Foxy, about two years ago. While she and Duchess don't look alike (Foxy was small, about 49 pounds, and tan) the positions in the pictures certainly were familiar. Foxy also loved to sleep with (any carry around) plush toys and slept with her tongue hanging out. I wonder if it is inherent in the breed or escaping the horrors of life on the track that causes these dogs to be so high on life.

Anyway, I am very sorry to hear of you loss. I will not help now but as I'm sure will happen at your house a new dog moved in (my dogs aren't pets, they are house guests) to provide us with love and entertainment. Sally may be genetically inferior (she is only 1/2 greyhound ) but she makes up for it with enthusiasm.
