These look like the same concept as the Bub Bad Dog shorties that someone posted awhile back. I heard a set of those on a Centauro a number of years ago and they were gawd-awful Harley drag pipe shut that damn thing off loud. Properly set up, the Bubs no doubt make power, as would these, but I wouldn't want to be around them for long.

Nice job!!

 

I just recently chopped 6" off my stock cans. The exhaust is a quite a bit louder now. It definetly turns some heads. This makes me want to chop some more... Here's the pics from my adventure:

Do you think you can take it to about a half inch from the foot peg bracket?

You probably already lost ten pounds!

And think how much easier it will be to clean the rear wheel if you take off a few more inches.

Plus the passenger won't hit there heel on the muffler as easily.

And you may gain some room for saddle bags.
