bento Posted May 5, 2005 Author Share Posted May 5, 2005 okay, the bubs came in today. they have like a scaled metal grating along the inside of the cones, but the center of them is open. the listing said that they were infact good for guzzis up to '01, so i'm crossing my fingers. dlaing Posted May 6, 2005 Share Posted May 6, 2005 I don't know if it helps but the the v11 engine is centered in the frame while the v1100 sits off center(to the left????) And I think the crossover hanger is different.... I am sure many on the list know the exact differences. FWIW I had Bubs on my V65...loved the sound and performance! bento Posted May 9, 2005 Author Share Posted May 9, 2005 well they went on fine. there is a tiny issue with that plastic at the rear right, but it may sort itself out with a little heat. one woman at work thought it was an airplane as i came up the drive. my ninja buddy was already outside when i got to the parking lot. yes they are nascar loud. the chrome went on the grey suprisingly well.
