dlaing
if you like Sam's you should give Redhook beers a try, a West coast version really. 50967 IMHO Redhook is Much better than Sam's. Pete's Wicked is about the best thing we import from the East Coast. The West Coast has many choices, most of them much more flavorful than Sam's: Redhook, Mendocino, Humboldt, Anchor, Stone, and Sierra Nevada to name a few of the mega micros. But there are so many great beers to choose from: http://www.beeradvocate.com/top_beers.php But I must admit there is nothing like Budweiser to wash down Doritos and beer nutz., like Coffee or Milk for Cookies
jrt
One bottle and my eyes hurt, couldn't stand the light and I had a splitting headace. 50874 Fusil oils (metabolic byproducts from the yeast). Gives beer a nasty flavor. Personally, I'm fond of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Best I've found yet. Actually, David, the Mendicino is also a pretty fine beer, but we don't get it here.
