Let's see if the slide show works. Some pic's are big so full-screen the window when it pops up.

We baptized and confirmed some new SoCal Hooligans.

NEW EVENT;

Today we did the "First Annual Gixxer Slalom".

Guzzi's 11, Gixxer's 0.

Every last one of us passed a large pod of full leathered Gixxer riders on the twisties. (What are those shiny knee pucks for?)

The guy holding the coffee had a tricked out Bonnie;

He was a cool guy. Broke down all the things he did to his bike.

Should-a got a pick of the bike.

I found out later that he was the drummer in Poison.

Seems it never rains in Southern California........ :grin: Back here in Scandinavia it's raining cats and dogs and we got bloody leaves all over the roads.

Great bikes, great pics and great weather - what more can you ask for?

Thanks for sharing :thumbsup:

Here is another nice bike.

It has a custom frame, possibly chromed chromoly, maybe titanium :huh2:

I should have taken photos of the details....

Dlaing,

Love your new photo!!! You sexxy rock star, aka, "Mine goes to 11!"

Speaking of which, I can never get my photo to show up, oh well.

That is an Egli frame (Spelling could be wrong), made by a famous

guy of the late seventies and eighties. He's one of those Nordic

country guys who, with his long winters, makes some amazing stuff.

And it is chromoly, with the main head to aft tube being of larger

diameter is for oil, so you can toss away your oil can, yeah.

Great bike, missed ya on the ride though. But I can understand.

Until next time, peace, and rubber side down.

Fritz Egli is the man and he's from Switzerland. He was 'world famous' in Europe in the Seventies/Eighties when the Japanese factories hadn't yet figured out how to build a strong and solid frame. I remember ol' Fritz made a turbo charged Kawa 1000....man, that bike was soooo cooool! He even made frames for Ducatis!

Fritz Egli has a crush for ol' Vincents, which you can see here: How about this cutie?

The Egli company is till alive and young Fritz (dunno his name) has taken over buisiness.
