Guest rosso mandello
Now that spring is finally coming up, the last thing I have tod do is checking on the valves. I saw my repairmand doing the job last spring, and I mean he did a wery tight 0,10/0.15 setting. I have a problem with getting steady idle, I read somewhere else that it was one of the downsides on too tight valves. What specs du you use out there... Mike Stewart
Yep, a looser valve lash makes the idle rock solid. You may have to readjust your idle speed afterwards (I suggest a throttle body resync. after a valve adjustment a must). My idle speed went up 300 rpm after the valve adjustment. dlaing
0.20mm inlet, 0.25mm exhaust 83661[/snapback] ...and many of us are happy at 0.15mm inlet and 0.20mm exhaust.
