  1. Do you still have the tank and tail cowl? If so, how good/bad is the condition of the paint? Did this model have the internal or external fuel pump+filter?

From the album: 2001 v11 SP

  3. Fingers crossed, looks like it should be smooth sailing 🤞🤞 Considering making my own pushrod from scratch using 7068
  4. Any other problems beside the diameter of the pushing end where it fits into the cup? Length issues +/-? I was planning on just turning the end of it down to fit. The ID of the cup that came with my kit is approx. 6.4mm, was going to turn my rod end down to 6mm.
  5. Excellent suggestions, will do it. This hub is indeed truly unobtanium now, so that would be well worth it. lol, thanks LP. Yes, I probably am. I would much rather over think it and be well prepared to do the job right the first and only time, or not do it at all, rather than under thinking it and taking everything apart without knowing if it will work, risking at the very least to waste a lot of time and money, at worst breaking something along the way all for naught.
  6. Thank you! Yes this does help a lot. The stack height thing seems like a critical dimension. In the earlier photos, the hubs are lined up with the top of the splines because they sort of bind up there, it's a cery precise fit, but if you push a little they go in further and bottom out on the friction plate. I imagine that when assembled they won't actually go in that far, so my most recent photos were the extreme case. There is a couple if not a few mm more of protrusion for the hub. Thank you so much for confirming stack height! Now the next thing to freaknout about will be the pushrod haha
  7. Thanks, that's reassuring... Do you still happen to have your old clutch parts kicking around? If so could you measure the height of the stack for me?
  8. Let me know if you need a new one. I have a brand new Bosch pump, bought a few years ago as a backup, that I won't be needing.
  9. dunno, did he? I'd feel a lot more confident about trying it if I had a better understanding of the dimensions of all these parts. Looking at the photos you posted from inside the clutch housing, it looks like things are very close on the gearbox side.
  10. yikes, looking at these photos doesn't make me feel very good about the amount of protrusion of the primary gear shaft, and the clearance of the case behind it...
  11. Do you still have thee parts?
  12. Hey FotoGuzzi, thanks for posting this. Do you still have these parts laying around? Would you be able to take some measurements for me? Explanation of measurements I'm looking for is here:
  13. So after days of staring at these parts, I have a fresh round of concerns. I'm hoping maybe someone has some clutch parts laying around that might help shed some light on them one way or another. Looking at the hub provided with the kit compared to the hub for our bikes, the one from the kit has a much longer collar for attaching to the gearbox primary shaft. The gear is also about 1mm taller: Hub included with kit protrudes about 20mm from the total height of the clutch: The hub for our bikes barely clears the height of the clutch stack if at all: The top of the drive splines sits about 6mm below the top of the clutch: So my question is, does the primary gear shaft in our bikes protrude from the case enough to make up this difference? Now I am also wondering also if the total height of this clutch matches the height of the stock clutch in my bike. Here is the total height, it's roughly 55-56mm: If anyone still has their old stock single plate clutch laying around, or even a double plate would be useful too, I'd love to know how they compare to these measurements, most importantly what the stack height is. And the protrusion of the primary gear shaft is also a huge concern... Thanks guys. Would obviously be great to have this all figured out before I open the bike up which is why I'm being so needy... I'd be fine with just calling it off and returning these parts if that what the conclusion is.
  14. actually, it appears that they were the outsourced OEM manufacturers for the stock single plate alu. clutch including the flywheel. If you go to my other thread on the RAM clutch kit there are photos, on page 3, posted by footgoose.
  15. I just sent a quote request.
  16. Rolf, thanks for this but I have a single plate clutch input hub and a RAM clutch I would be using. So the clutch wouldn't be a concern. Yes, I would also be installing the RAM clutch at the same time.
  17. So I might have the opportunity to buy a spare transmission, from what I believe is a 2005 Ballabio. Condition not known yet, so assuming it's in good running order, was wondering if it would bolt up to my 2001 engine. I have a lower subframe. Anything else I would need? I've read elsewhere in our forum that the later model shift selectors are slightly mo' betta. Any other potential advantages / disadvantages anyone could think of in doing the swap? I'm thinking that if I have to remove the gearbox to do the single plate clutch conversion, I could use that opportunity to swap the gearbox while I'm at it. But only if A) it's compatible and B) it's worth doing... I welcome your opinions, encouragement and harsh scornful criticisms alike.
  18. Wait, "buying two"? Isn't the minimum order 50 units? Or did you mean "too"? In that case it would be $2.20 per part plus shipping to the rest of us.
  19. On ebay from a gentleman in the Netherlands.
