decide to go with the RAM single plate Ed machined these last year. it's a california flywheel fyi. it is still bolted together as I received it. the close up of the teeth looks way worse than in person but there you go I would call the condition good, it certainly isn't new. decided to go with later Ballabio style fairing/instrument mount. this won't work. and I could not paint over the cf there is one small crack on the windscreen, there are no other major scuffs or scratches I bought it from Guzzi Tech, included is the mounting hardware. Spine frames are two piece and welded just aft of the front airbox mount. No big deal. Just something I was unaware of. Carry on.

The 20mm diameter by 20mm long rubber isolation mounts on the coils separated and the coils were bouncing around a lot. I assume everyone has already discussed this at some point. Replacements are on ebay, anazon, ec.

For Al who is waiting on gears. I spent my adult life in machine shops and around toolmakers. Mr. Caruso's gears are something to behold. The intersection of any two surfaces is properly and perfectly dressed. The workmanship is old school and what costs. I feel like all of us who have those gears have a little piece of Giuseppe in our bikes.

Yes it's a Ballabio triple tree. But the engraving is nicer than the foil sticker that was on the Scura triple tree. I mean, come on Guzzi. This bike is taking forever. Even a small victory, like getting this insignificant detail done, really cheers me up. My old boss had a saying for when everything was going smoothly. "Like a well-oiled symphony." Found this on ebay. In NZ of all places. Bought it, 12x18, $30 shipped. I wish they sold a larger size I have a big wall Who else thinks these were prettier than the V11? Minus the colostomy bag.
