Found a thread by Wambiker read through that seems most people use thicker oils
I might go hunting for a 15/50 high zinc as we are heading to summer here
Hi guys I realise this may have been done to death but do we need a high zinc oil?
It appears from google that 5/40-20/50 is appropriate seems like a massive range
The best sounding Guzzi ‘s in my mind are firstly when I was younger a yellow black 1100 sport come thundering off throttle slightly down hill into town he was going fast enough it lasted a good while I was awestruck
secondly meet some bloke at a Lower Hutt motor cycle shop was standing out front admiiring a possibly sp1000 or similar big bored awesome pipes and running carbs anyway one big roll of the throttle down the street around roundabout and gone but the sound seemed to fill the atmosphere with a raucous delightful sound absolutely awesome my two favourite Guzzi sounds so far
I’m in two minds, about getting staintune mufflers repaired ie re skinned or get cycle works to make new link pipes for these black mufflers as my bike is basically All Black now bar pork chops and bars for now

I have a local motorcycle mufflers shop nearby ‘cycle works”
I also have some other no name mufflers in black but they are very open or free flow with removable baffles my question is if they are to free flowing what do you have to do to correct fueling is it that CO trim I’ve heard about
bike is has crossover pipe as well otherwise stock
