  1. These are "like new". These are the older style (about 3 years ago) Technic armoured racing gloves with carbon fibre nuckle guard. They are very comfortable, but too racy for me so I've only worn them a few times. I am a 9.5 glove size and these are slighty loose (perfectly comfortable and not clumsy). They are more accurately a size 10 glove (there is no size label). Check out this sizing chart to see if they fit you http://www.leeparksdesign.com/images/leepa...vesizechart.pdf $40 USD + shipping. I accept PayPal.
  2. These gloves are in "like new" condition - worn only a few times. No scratches, cuts or marks of any kind. $109 new, my price is $65 + shipping. See them here: http://www.leeparksdesign.com/eshopprod_ca...ck_and_Tan_.htm Medium = glove size 9.5. Check out their sizing chart to see if they fit you http://www.leeparksdesign.com/images/leepa...vesizechart.pdf I accept PayPal. contact me here: guzzilla at shaw.ca
  3. I have installed a Pyramid Plastics hugger (meant for CBR600, made from ABS) on my V11. I removed the original (ineffectual piece of junk) and this CBR600 version works very well and looks great. I'll try to get some photos soon.
  4. Nice, but where's the front fender? Is it extra for a real front fender? What if you want to ride in the wet? Must you put up with road debris all over the engine? This is my pet peeve for most new "sporty" bikes. When did proper front fenders go out of style? Phehh.
  5. As sexy as a V8 would be, it wouldn't have wabi-sabi.
  6. Hey Jim, you must be one of the "inner circle", because here's the response I got: "Not at this time we do not. It is in our future palns , but no ETA yet. Regards Markus sales@pazzoracing.com" If you do manage to get a set, please let us know. If you need any other participants for an order, then I'm in.
  7. http://www.pazzoracing.com/ This guy is in Vancouver, and I've been told that he could make some levers for us, if we send him a set to copy. I have a spare set of levers, so I'll look into it.
  8. Great. Just what we need for the road. If they expect to compete with the Japanese on HP and top speed, then they really are smoking drugs (they should stick to tires). I wish Guzzi would concentrate on refining their suspension. I would love to see a Hossack front-end, and less unsprung weight at the rear. Let's face it, 100HP is enough for anybody on the road. The real challenge is this: getting AND keeping the power on the road surface safely!
  9. I'm always interested in learning safer road skills. Here's some food for thought: If you are really interested in safety, then wouldn't it be wiser to pull over for a 15 minute break so that the inexperienced riders can get far enough ahead so that they don't get in your way? Slow riders on fast bikes (who are evidently inexperienced, given their riding style) are just another road hazard to be avoided.
  10. ebay item # 4630549260 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...AMESE%3AIT&rd=1
  11. Thanks for the review Martin. Can you please translate your above line for us colonials!
  12. I'm considering the Clubman Classic boot, and I'm wondering if any of you guys have any experience with these or other Altbergs? I've worn Sidi boots for 20 years, but I have a wide foot with high instep and the modern Italian boots don't seem to be made for my feet anymore.
  13. I was just yanking your chain! It's not my favourite colour either. My preference is for white helmets, but I would approve of zinc-chromate-green (but even that is almost yellow!).
  14. Shame on you! Show a little respect to yer maun!

    Tank Bag

The factory one is the best. Try Moto International or MG Cycle or MPH. If that fails, contact Agostini or Teo Lamers. Good luck! You will not regret the expense - it is THAT good! I just bought the last one Moto International had. They might be able to get more.
  16. Wayne uses three LEDs - I have his wiring diagram (it might even be somewhere on the web). I bought one of his little units many years ago - and still have it. I like the Signal Dynamics version ,mainly because it uses only one LED and gives just as much information.
  17. This is the most unobtrusive charging indicator you can get: http://www.signaldynamics.com/products/Modules/HUVM.asp (be warned, the website is slow to load) I have the remote-LED version but haven't installed it yet (probably this weekend).
  18. I have the correct (post-02) centrestand. I got it on last night and it is a very tight fit with the left exit pipe on the crossover. I completely loosened the exhaust joints and now I just need to go tighten everything up. It's hard to tell if it will drag or not - it will depend upon how compressed the suspension is during the cornering. I think it will be fine, but I will take some measurements to get a better idea. Steve - thanks for the offer, but no need to get rid of the stand. I bought it from MI. I also bought the factory tank bag - it is awesome, just as you said it would be!
  19. $16 including airmail shipping within North America. Like new except that I drilled a 6mm hole (centered near the bottom edge). I prefer paypal.
  20. Does anyone have the TLM centerstand installed with the stock crossover? I wrestled the centerstand onto my '03 Sport last night (lots of cursing and puzzled looks) BUT I had to remove the crossover for access. I ran out of time to re-install the crossover but it seems like it won't go back in place. Has anyone else done this? I have a bad feeling that I'm going to be forced into buying an aftermarket crossover... speaking of which, why pay $350 for the Stucchi when the FBF looks the same and is only $240?
  21. I've found that wearing earplugs is the only way to get rid of wind noise and thus reduce fatigue on long rides. Also, hearing damage due to excessive noise is cumulative -- wear earplugs or eventually go deaf!
  22. That would solve your mileage, but your handling will be destroyed with over 40 lbs of fuel mounted so high and to the rear.
  23. Sunday, April 23rd. I hope to be there as well. Ryan - glad to hear that you will at least have the V11 fixed soon. I'm picking up mine tomorrow.
  24. Nice cutting, welding and polishing work. However, haven't you just re-created the stock crossover? The only difference I see is that you don't have the stainless sound-deadening insulation inside the top and bottom of the stock crossover. Am I missing something?
  25. My only expense was transportation to/from the island. It is still on warranty. I will be back on the road by this weekend.
