  1. A friend of mine has Pilot Power tires mounted on his Rosso Corsa. He said that these are the best tires he ever had. Much better than BT020.
  2. A friend of mine had a similar problem with his Rosso Corsa. The light went on because the sealing of the oil filter was porous which caused low oil pressure.
  3. I bought a tailor-made exhaust system at MAB-Power It looks simmilar to this: . Afterwards I had the problem that the bike was running too lean at 3000 rpm. My modell has the a lambda sensor which overrides any setting you have changed at the FI system. The solution: I bought the ECU which is part of the MG Titanium Exhaust Kit (for modells with catalytic converter). I ordered it directly from Mistral (less than half the price of the MG part). Mistral is the supplier of the MG exhaust kit! It feels like riding a new motorcycle! Power power power ...
  4. Single plate clutch: V11 Rosso Mandello V11 Le Mans Tenni V11 Scura
  5. In Germany A LOT of V11 owners with the front crossover had the same problem with the header pipes. Me too (after 6000 Km):
  6. No! Please be aware of that on a 03/04 model with catalytic converters (these were not delivered to the U.S.) this doesn´t change anything! Maybe you will also damage the catalytic converters doing so. The lamba sensor detects the exhaust gas and controls the ECU, so every change you make will be overriden.
  7. Some BMW motorcycles (with catalytic converters) had these problems ("lean stumbling") much much worse. With the ECU software update (not each dealer is able to do this) this problem (if it really is "lean stumbling") will be solved.
  8. I had the same problems with my 2003 Rosso Corsa (KAT with lambda sensor) The problem was that my ECU had a software which was not up-to-date. A sticker shows the version number 61601.049.01. With a new software 61601.049.02 alle problems are gone. Iit is still pinging a bit but no more stumbles, cuts out or missfires.

  12. Look at your front tire! The BT 020 front tire seems to wear out very fast (6000 km). I had more abrasion than on the rear wheel and a "saw tooth" effect too.

:!: Here in Germany some V11 Riders have cracks in their exhaust tubes. I our german V11 Forum we came to the conclusion that this could be caused by front crossovers which were tightend too firmly.
