    UK Track Day

yep me too.yeah wife ,and dog and iv'e got pair of gay roosters. gay bike. come on v11, its come out time.
  2. a friend and myself, did a ride to sydney last weekend,an excellent ride of 1100k return trip, we did it mostly back roads where possible, we did most of the legendery rds for motorcycles between kempsey and sydney, returned home via putty rd and gloucester. one of the things friend lined up to do was test ride a griso, while down there. so he got his test ride but was not that impressed with the experience, felt it a bit to civilised, a bit to compliant, and not as raw as his v11 rosso, i trust his oppinion, are they that boring or do v11 riders need that raw antique feel. my question is has any one else here ridden the griso and would care to share the experience, as i'm thinking of buying one, iv'e ridden the breva 11 and enjoyed it. but i much prefer the look of the griso. find it hard to like the muffler though..cheers gazza.

    ''TOP TEN''

''interesting to read recently a poll conducted in the us found that the following 10 were named by the panel of judges. 1. honda cub 50. 2. ducati 916. 3.honda cb 750. 4. y2k jet bike. 5.piaggio vespa. 6.triumph bonneville. 7.britten. 8.moto guzzi v8. 9.brough superior ss 100. 10. harley knucklehead. well perhaps we could conduct our own poll, it could be a bit of light relief from global warming. but would it attract as much discussion?
  9. MV AGUSTA sold to italian investment group GEVI SpA for one euro [A$1.60] it receives 57.5 percent share of mv along with it's $127 million debt. it is believed that protonmade this move to make itself a more interesting prospect for sale to volkswagen.

  11. i believe most points you make are correct a good track bike doesn't necessarily make a good road bike,[ horses for courses] but they make what people want [popular] which mid size sports bikes are . a lot of very sensible bikes have come onto the market 600-750 singles and twins which we know are the best option for young and or inexperienced riders. but they don't last. as they don't sell enough. and it all gets back to sales. i've had some of my most memorable riding days ,past and present on 500 and 660 singles. but thats just me. ps have you been to guzzi rally .mingoola on your vert.?quote=g.forrest,Jan 17 2006, 03:43 PM] 74664[/snapback]
  12. ''common sense and experience count for naught..when some young upstart copper has you..you may explain that you have however many years on motorcycle or whatever.to even point out the fact as i have. ie no reported accidents, no insurance claims. but when they got ya they got ya..simply applying the law verbatin..and then tell you they are applying the law in the interest of safety, my point yes i speed, get no excitement from rideing at speed limits, but never been involved in accident. iv'e lost my licence twice though and been done for up to 40kmh over the limit in 100 zone. and payed out thousands of dollars in fines. but never injured one other sole on roads..i still speed and get away with it 99.99 percent of the time. so who benefits from the penalties imposed on me..
