  1. Ok, so the Griso swap isn't really possible, or too hard. But check out this puppy, pretty sweet. http://www.motogadget.com/en/frameset.html ok, its not taking you to the exact page but go to the products list and go down to "motoscope light"
  2. ok, so lets suppose the mounting was set up, what else needs to be done as far as the computer control? Does the MPH and Tach need to be recalibrated or regeared? Any mechanically inclined people have any ideas? I can swap an exhaust or add accessory lights but this is a little out of my league right now, just trying to guage the difficulty.
  3. Just saw a picture of the griso instrument cluster, how hard would that be to adapt to an '03 le mans? Seen a lot of people talk about digital instruments and what not. Here's the link to MG's griso website http://www.motoguzzi-us.com/bikes/griso/index.html

  5. I really like the older white face gauges with the eagle on the gauges, so is it possible to change the black face gauges from a 2003 v11 le mans and replace them with the older white face ones, or does anyone know where I can get white overlays? Is there any difference in quality between the gauges? thanks.

  7. I hate to ask this, I've looked at the changes in model years, and am considering buying a barely broken in '03 or a '00 with 14k on the clock. I am aware that the later version is wider, etc. This will be my first guzzi so which would ya'll take??
  8. I need a new jacket and was wondering what the differences vs benefits of leather vs textile jackets are? Can anyone shed some light on this? I live in the D.C. area and do every kind of riding from cruising to 2 or 3 day tours. thanks.
  9. anyone have or know anything about the Dowco GuardianĀ® Secureā„¢ Motorcycle Cover. The concept looks good, am wondering if the thing actually works or is it just a gimmik product.
  10. What tools do you have on your bikes? Besides the normal toolkit for the bike, what extra do you keep on the bike?
  11. I remember seeing a link to a site of a guy that had toured most of the U.S. and parts of Canada on his motorcycle. He had written down all the trip reports and mapped out the routes he took. Anyone know of the site?
  12. Am looking at a 2002 Rosso Mandello but also a 2004 ballabio or coppa italia. Can someone inform me of the big differences and which if either is better? I have another bike and used to ride an SV650 but this would be my first Guzzi. Thanks.
