  1. i am considering installing a PC III on my '03 lemans but suffer from the confusion of which part number is correct. The closest i have come is #706-411 which is made for the '00-'01 Sport. If this is not correct then could one of you gearheads please point me in the right direction. Any insight on the proper mapping would be appreciated also. Only current mod is mistral pipe with crossover.
  2. tried using the FAQ but was unsuccessful... my local moto guzzi dealer is no longer ordering guzzi parts for their customers which temporarily puts me in a bit of a bind. i am in need of a microswitch to activate the lights for my front brake...was wondering if anybody has a good source (internet or otherwise). thanks for any suggestions.
  3. thanks. i thought it was pretty straightforward but it is always better to ask someone who has been there and knows the glitches.
  4. i would very much like to attend the "TT" this weekend but have had absolutely no luck in confirming the event by any other source than this posting. can you confirm that indeed there will be the annual rally this coming weekend, aug. 26th and 27th? thanks for any additional info.
  5. i am interested in the steps you took when disabling the kill switch. i just want to be sure that i don't screw up the electrics.
  6. '03 lemans, 6K, strong battery. on an occasion or two i discovered that in order to start my guzzi became necessary to toggle the kill switch through a cycle. always worked...until this morning. twisting bars, rotating the switch assembly, pulling in the clutch, checking the side stand all went for nought. at this point my best guess is the kill switch has given up the ghost. if indeed this is the culprit does anyone see any dangers in disabling the switch? if not, any advice on how to go about this? any troubleshooting insights are welcome.
  7. reading through the responses i now have some "tricks" to try but i didn't see any true fixes. i was interested in the one reply about disabling the kill switch. any ideas on this fix and would it cause other problems? just purchased an '03 lemans and would rather be riding it than just watching it as a garage ornament.
