  1. So ............. who added the guy from Vancouver Canada??

    Ciao

I did. It looks like you own the bike and you post. So,why not be in the registry? It actually would be nice to know everyone with Coppa in the USA. From what I gather we should only have 47 bikes in the USA. I am not sure if Canada was allocated any of these models or if they drew from USA allocation

So, if you know of someone that owns these beauties then post up

  2. Well here is the list of my dream bikes in no particular order

    1. Moto Guzzi MGS-01 based Mandello Racing MAS-12

       WEIGHT:                         190 Kg-Dry weight

    2.  Vyrus 986M2.
This is actually might be somewhat affordable if you can still get it for the prices that were announced back in 2011
Here is a link to the article http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/news/vyrus-986-m2-pricing/
"There’s a price point for everyone in this launch, as the Factory will cost €55,000 (real race bike), the SL Replica €25,000, and the Replica Kit rounding out things at €16,900" (that is only $18500 in today's money as Feb 1, 2016)

I assume price might have gone up somewhat. But if cannot be bought directly then 2 or 3 dealers in the states will jack up the price way high.

I would go for a Kit cause it would skip a certification issue and bike can be registered as a custom built. (Some states are easier then others. I assume). All one would need is a nice clean CBR600RR engine. I would love to be able to put in GSXR-750 engine in this thing but CBR600RR is a fine motor anyway

Well DB7 has the engine from Ducati 1098, DB8 has extra 20hp and Ducati engine from 1198 and the Ultimate DB11 with an engine from 1198 but supercharged and around 200-205hp

    2013-Bimota-DB11-VLX-EICMA.jpg

    5. Bimota DB5R

This one is a bit more affordable if you can find one. Be prepared to spend around $18-20K and very few in the USA. Bimota has not been brought to the USA since 2008. Only 2 dealers are bringing Bimota into US right now

    Bimota%20DB5R%2009.jpg

    6. Another Bimota BB3 - New BMW S1000RR Engined monster. Looks really nice but non-existent in the USA

    Bimota%20BB3%20%201.jpg

    7. Mondial Piega 1000

Beautiful bike with massaged Honda RC51 engine. Pushes around 146hp. This is is very rare and I think only 3 or 4 in the USA

    Mondial-Piega-1000-Right-Side.jpg

Now to more affordable and more available bikes

    And now for Modern machinery

Obviously some are more affordable then others and some older exotic machinery can be had for a price of a cheap Japanese bike. It's not going to be the latest sharpest tool but who cares. I doubt there are too many people out there who can actually use a full potential of any of these bikes mentioned.

So my moto is actually to be different on the budget. All my current bikes are somewhat unique and they are fast enough.

I am sure I can come up with more bikes but what is the point. I cannot afford most of these anyway. At least till they get aged a bit

  3. For clip-ons you can add nice adjustable Convertibars. Look up my old posts on how it looks on Ballabio that I have converted to LeMans. Still looks as clip-ons but could be raised as high as the handlebar. If you need Convertibars let me know. Actually I just finished converting my Coppa Italia into LeMans Coppa. And I replaced my regular handlebar with Convertibars.

  4. Just found out that these brackets are pretty much same but Left side is supposedly a bit longer. In any case I still think MG did them wrong cause it causes too much stress on plastic fairing. If they would do it the right way by making these bracket a mirror image of each other they would mount fairing much easier :homer:

  5. Hello everyone. Need help from anyone who owns bikes with a big Full upper fairing. Moto Guzzi is being stupid and twice sold me wrong brackets. Brackets in questions are the ones that mount on the back of cylinder heads and allow the rearmost screws to hold the fairing (12 and 13 on the diagram). MG lists part numbers for Left and Right bracket but they package LEFT side brackets in both Left and Right and labels them with different part numbers corresponding to Left and Right. These brackets MUST be a mirror image of each other. Unfortunately whoever packages MG parts either doesn't know what they are doing or just plainly do not care. :homer:

So, if anyone can snap a picture of these brackets as they are mounted on your bikes or at the least can look and tell me what they got, I would highly appreciate.

I am re-ordering a Right side bracket again but if I get the Left side packaged in the Right side bracket I will be at loss. I guess I would have to somehow do one on my own or bend the hell out of the left bracket to mount it on the right side.

Also if anyone can snao a picture of a Rubber Wellnut marked 11 on the diagram, I would highly appreciate it

    Thank you in advance

    Vlad

  6. Does anyone know if the Alternator Cover from Sport 1100 will fit on V11? It the same engine. I checked part numbers and they are different but that could be due just being of different color.

I think it should fit but not 100% certain. I would appreciate a response from anyone with a knowledge on this matter.

  7. As the title states I have an OEM Carbon Fiber Front Fender for Ohlins Forks (GU01434385). This fender fits Coppa Italia, Scura and Café Sport. Obviously if someone upgraded to Ohlins forks it will fit.

This fender has been discontinued and is no longer available from anywhere. Just checked the price and TLM lists it at $290.

I would like to get $250 or best offer with FREE shipping anywhere in the USA

This is a take of from my own Coppa Italia and its in great shape.

  9. Well, I am dealing with the same issue but I paid a lot less. I can probably get this sump extention to anyone for about $150 delivered anywhere in the USA. At least I did it for myself 2 month ago.

Just wondering if anyone know what kind of paste is on the internal screws that hold sump extention to the block. I read that some people use blue loctite on the internal screws and antiseize on screws that hold sump to sump extention

  10. This bike is not worth anymore then $2000-2200. And only after everything is fixed. Af1 are knowledgeable bunch but their prices are most expensive for everything including parts. They actually charge 15-20% over full list which I think is way too expensive.

  11. By the way sometimes it's cheaper to buy brand new parts then to buy them new on eBay or anywhere else. I know this for a fact. In CA you have a very good dealer who charges honest prices and doesn't want your first born. If you have parts fight and know your part numbers try to order from Pro Italia.

Iam in no way associated with Pro Italia and actually order from my local dealer where I get my dealer discount

  12. Lately I am having issues posting. I cannot add images or links. For example in one of my last posts I could not setup a link to PDF file and could not add an image even though link to the image was posted.

When I click on the editing option to add link or an image nothing happens and I cannot even close the dialog box that opens up. I have to click a back button and obviously everything that I was trying to post or change disappears.

    Any help will be appreciated

  13. This is an awesome bike. I wish Moto Guzzi build this bike. With mass production the price range could have been in high teens to mid twenties depending on suspension and electronic gadgetry.

The bike is only 190kg=418lbs dry weight with 151 hp. The only bad thing is the price. It's 35000 eu = $39700 at today's exchange rate. It also takes at least 3-4 months to build

  14. I am wondering if anyone actually ever done this replacement. I saw this on Gutsibits. "Fits Moto Guzzi V11 Sport - Timing Gear Set Steel Ergal Spur Cut"

    http://www.gutsibits.co.uk/pr/TheShop/index.php?f=e&Shnew=1&Model=1&ModelName=1100%20Sport,%20V11&Cat=ENA&CatName=Engines&spPage=15#topbar

I am wondering what benefit will this offer and would it really improve and upgrade anything

Any thoughts and knowledge about this subject would be appreciated
