This wa so successful by way of turnout that we'll be running it again for next year's calendar...let's hope we get some V11 pics! HAHA
-
Thank you so much, it was terrific fun putting it together but has come out that cool all because of the amazing photos that people have sent. I'll be publishing the other entries on our website. There are some terrific photos that unfortunately didn't make it ...

Nice calendar Joe, I recognize, I have undervalue this photo competition.
I guess, now it's too late to be part of it.
Well done!!!
Thank you Antonio! ...not to worry, have a go next time we come up with something like this...

I know...(sigh) it's been so, so hard to make the choice...if only there were 86 months in the year...sniff.
-
The competition is now closed!
Thank you ever so much to all those who have taken part and made the process fun! We have made the first shortlist which may be viewed here: http://www.photo.guzzista.com/
It has been incredibly difficult process to whittle it down to these and from here on in it'll get harder! All the images submitted will be posted on our website in due course.
Thank you again and regards

...fair comment, doing it this way also helps people visualise where the clip was filmed...cool clip though!

Actually, before that Top Gear episode I thought James Blunt was a ...well, er...total Blunt!
But having seen the interview with Clarkson he came a ccross as quite a nice bloke as it happens, with a good sense of humour...you'd have to have that though if your voice sounded like that!

Anyone want to play the Google earth game and share their favourite roads?
-
Don't forget there's still time to enter...have a looksie here at some of the entries received thus far:
-
Go for it Joe- don't worry about the School of Models- go for some proper cheap porn stars.
...well I started my research and typed "proper cheap porn starts" into Google...interesting results, to say the least!
-
...how difficult would it be to set one up? get all the dealers involved, the local marketing arm, the owners and enthusiasts clubs...St John ambulance, the London School of models...etc etc...
-
'sfunny that, I was just saying the same thing a few moments ago to a pal of mine...I may well do that next year, but if I went I couldn't fly, I'd have to ride down there via Stelvio pass and Madello...you're right about the food...although I've many a good Ruby Murray in Brum in my time...but then with the prospect of having to do the ride all over again!
-
A mate of mine went to the NEC in Birmingham (venue for the forthcoming bike show) at the weekend for the classic car show and tells me he paid
-
...I'm not surprised by that at all...I went a few times and apart from the place being rubbish, I would always go home with the feeling I'd been swindled...I only ever used to go to see the Guzzis anyway...I'll have to wait until they arrive for sale in the dealers and arrange some test rides.
...rip off Britain as usual...

I've found out some interesting stuff about this bike out there, esp the poss price. I've just written a preview of it:
-
He's a good egg Ewan, has been into Guzzis for years, way before he was famous. He's been known to help small racing teams with sponsorship n stuff...there you go Gyles...and has been known to buy bikes off e-bay to do up, it's how he relaxes apparently.
This, I hear is...or was...his:
last night's episode was excellent, what a great advert for the factory! It was his idea to go there, I get the feeling that if it were up to him, and had it been ready in time, they would have used Stelvios...now that woulda been something!
Incidentally, before you watch Long way down on Sundays, watch Top Gear, it's one of the funniest programs on telly!
-
Nice one Gyles! well deserved bit of exposure!
-
Beautiful!!!
I was even inspired to write about it...it's that purty...sob!
-
Thank you, yes that's right...I'm also trying to get Moto Guzzi UK to contribute but, as this is not certain yet, I've not mentioned it in the web page...
