  2. Hi everyone, the MCN motorcycle show is in London on 15, 16, 17 February and Moto Guzzi will be there. If anyone wants to attend we have a single room and a double room available with wi-fi just 30 mins drive from the exhibition centre in a house of Guzzisti. If you are bringing your Guzzi we have secure parking. We can arrange a package with tickets. If interested please PM me for more details. Regards Joe
  3. Is it sung by a girl with un feasibly large bosoms? If not, why not? I have absolutely no desire to purchase a cheesy single but if you're serious I'll send you a buck. Pete Haha, you'll have to wait for the video which is out in a couple of days! OMG, did you see her other pictures???? Sadly she's not in it, but now you'd brought her to our attention perhaps for the next one! Anything other than facebook (I have issues)? That's quite handy 'cause the tune is a sarcastic piss take out of the whole facebook thing :-) Cheers for your replies fellas!
  4. Hi everyone, as some of you will know I've been working with a film/tv production company ( www.woolwichworks.com ) We are trying to raise the funding to produce a documentary about Moto Guzzi enthusiasts which we will pitch to tv companies. We've already started scripting and filming. Unfortunately to produce something like this costs money. One of the ways we are trying to do this is by releasing a novelty single. It ain't breaking musical ground or anything, it's cheesy and catchy but hopefully it'll allow us to fund the production of the Guzzi documentary. The single is available on amazon as well as i-Tunes and loads of other online music retailers. It costs 0.69p in the UK. It's not a lot of money individually but it could make the difference and help us to put Moto Guzzi on the screen. If you would like to help you could do so by downloading the song and SHARING it with any Guzzisti you know. You can find it here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/By-The-Book/dp/B00AFV0S10/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1354962312&sr=8-9 If you buy it and never listen to it that's fine by me, but your 0.69p could make the documentary. Thank you, happy christmas to all of you, Joe
  5. The Squadra Guzzista 2012 calendar is finally here! Beautiful real Guzzis with beautiful real biker chicks! Forza Guzzi! We didn't have acalendar last year due to loads of crap going on but this year we teamed up with Woolwich Works Production Co who are filming a sitcom down in Woolwich...Squadra supplied the bikes and they supplied the biker chicks...fair enough really! http://www.cafepress.co.uk/guzzista/8130092 ...here's a sneak preview! We've also got a one off special edition that we're sending to Mandello to wish them a happy birthday.
  6. The calendar is almost ready! They look gorgeous...and so do the biker chicks! lol
  7. Cheers Guy working on the material at the moment. The images and calendar will be uploaded shortly!
  8. ...shame...all that training would go to waste with the burgers and beer ;-) hehehe Struggled round in 1.02, not too bad for a pensioner I suppose Instead of burgers and beer tonight its Curry and Beer at Wetherspoon's. They turn over loads of beer so its always good. Looks like you had a good time without me anyway Joe, or maybe my absences just did the trick Naah you'd have been very welcome John. It was good fun, hard work but good fun, there were about 45 people on set on Sunday in one capacity or another but the footage with the bikes for the woolwich trailer is amazing, I'll post a link to the video soon. And the photo shoot for the Squadra 2012 calendar was great too, it's gonna be amazing...beautiful women with beautiful Guzzis, what more could you ask for?
  9. Photos of the day's filming are here: http://woolwich.wetpaint.com/photos/album/195157/Filming#fbid=0XStJnPTkai there will be more photos soon! Forza Guzzi! The Guzzis come from Squadra Guzzista members. Enjoy!
  10. ...shame...all that training would go to waste with the burgers and beer ;-) hehehe
  11. Hi all, Guzzis are needed for filming on 11 September in Woolwich, London. There's a sitcom being produced and a bunch of bikes are needed for one of the scenes. The prodicers were offered a bunch of bikes but I told them the only bikes worthwhile for looks and sound are Moto Guzzis! The production company have lined up a group of gorgeous biker chicks to be on the bikes. At the same time Squadra Guzzista will be taking the opportunity to take 12 bikes to be the stars on the Guzzi calendar 2012. Each bike selected will be photographerd with the biker chick allocated to that particular bike. It'll be the owner's job to give each biker moll a name. After the filming the production company are organising burgers and stuff at a local pub. If you're not doing anythin g on 11th September and would like to have your Guzzi on film drop me a line at info@guzzista.com and I'll reply with details etc. This is a link from th casting agent: http://actorsthemselvesfamily.ning.com/events The Woolwich sitcom community site is here: http://www.woolwich.wetpaint.com Filming will take place on 11th September in Woolwich, London, bring your Guzzi down, its rare to see Guzzis on film, and this is a terrific opportunity to promote Moto Guzzi! Look forward to seeing as many as can make it on the day, the more the better. Regards Joe
  12. It was a great day, you can see the report here: http://guzzista.wetpaint.com/page/Squadra+...ing+Ride+Report :D
  13. Hi everyone, long time no speak :-) Next month we're heading on a run to Hampshire and if any of you chaps on here fancy a little scoot about, you will be most welcome: http://guzzista.wetpaint.com/page/Squadra+...pring+Ride+2009 Regards Joe
  14. That cafe V7 classic is lovely! I know you can't fit a Bellagio motor in that frame...but can you fit cafe classic clothes on a Ballagio chassis? That would rock!
  15. That suggestion may not be so off the wall...My local football team was bought out by 20000 people who each paid £35 by way of the Myfootballclub website. The members now vote online on all issues to do with the club, including picking the team and the formation to play. The £35 is renewable on a yearly basis. Since the takeover the club have woin a major competition and are now full time professionals. Why don't we do the same and buy Moto Guzzi? We could then build exactly the bikes that Guzzisti want to see on the road....start with, lets say a road legal MGS Corsa :D profits could be ploughed straight back into the factory and Guzzi would kick ass again!
  16. It is done! The judging process has been really tricky as there have been so many good photos, but I think the end result is awesome! Have a look here for the winning entries: http://guzzista.wetpaint.com/page/Photography+Competition Many thanks to all who entered, the winners will receive their prize directly! Best regards, I hope you are all ok and that you have had a great summer! Joe
  17. Hello gang! Some of you may have seen this video on youtube Caludio, the author, is riding his Guzzi right across the americas! We all talked how McGregor and his chubby pal should have done it on Guzzis, well, Claudio is doing it but without the media hype! He is in a competition at the moment that could win him much needed funds to keep his intrepid adventure going and is looking for votes which can be made here: http://www.7mates.com/raccontidiviaggio/gu...m-di-canada.htm You need to click on "vota per questo racconto", in red to the left of the map. Then you will be asked to enter a captcha of scrambled characters to verify..it's a bit complicated to vote in this way but well worth the effort. It is all in Italian, but you can copy paste chunks of text into Google Translate if you get stuck...go on, it's worth the effort, let's get Guzzi on top!
  18. Hello everybody, just to advise that the competition is now closed. Response has been terrific and there have been some incredible images submitted. I am now sorting through the entries which will be forwarded to the judging panel in due course. Thank you to everybody that sent in photos, you guys really do have an eye for a shot, and good luck to you all! Bookmark this page so you can keep updated on progress as winners will be announced soon! http://guzzista.wetpaint.com/page/Photography+Competition Best regards Joe

Seems like you all had a terrific time and I'm glad you all made it back safe! 21. I hope you all arrive safe and have a terrific time!
  22. This year at Squadra Guzzista, seeing as our members are scattered all over the world, we will be documenting the meets and events our members get to. So far we've visited the Brooklands Centenary, Italian Bike Night at the Ace Cafe, MGCGB Scottish Rally, The Wolds Run, Anzanigo 2008, and the Old Timer Treffen. Have a read here...are any of the bikes in the pics yours? let us know...we'll be adding some more events soon... http://guzzista.wetpaint.com/page/We+were+there
  23. Hey Antonio did you go to Anzanigo in the end? It seems like they had a great time...we have a report on the meet here: http://guzzista.wetpaint.com/page/We+were+there
  24. We ran a little poll a while back about the engine size and we returned some interesting results...49% stated that they shoulda released the bike with a larger motor (we suggested the Breva/Griso 850 lump for the example) 38% stated they felt the bike wuld be sufficiently powered in its 750 format. Interestingly though, looking at the voting on a regional basis, the vast majority of voters from Europe would have preferred a larger engine whilst in the USA most preferred the smaller capacity... I wonder if considerably higher fuel prices stateside means they are looking for more economical machines whereas in Europe, as we are used to over inflated fuel costs we don't care about that and just want power...maybe that might account for it... One of our members from Belgium is du to be collecting his V7 Classic in the next week or so...we'll see what he thinks of it...
  25. ...you just can't do it...it's like your best mate...even if they support Chelsea and you have the odd row, they're still your best pal...they understand you and you understand them and you forgive each other's shortcomings, even if they do support Chelsea! Good decision, well done!
