  1. that hurts, isnt it? Imediatelly after crash, did you care about yourself first or run directly to your beloved bike? When I crashed last year and was lying with leg broken several times on the road I turned around just to see what hows my sweetie Good to hear your OK.
  2. sure! Republic is crowded with dead japs. Mostly badly hitted in Germany and Italy, then home repaired and sold as 100%, never had an accident, wonderfull custom paint and etc. Big bussiness going around here... But you know, youngsters don!t care about history of the bike, they care for horsepower
  3. you guys, problem solved. Air baypass screws were really opened to much. 3 turns are really a lot I closed bypasses full way, opened them 1 1/2 turn and adjusted by idle screw on the left throttle body. Engine holds still idle at 1100-1200, idle does not drop during rides and firing in 3000rpm has reduced significantly!
  4. Sure, Idle changes a lot! After 400km on one hit the idle drops to 1000-1100. When cold or after shorter (shorter means 20-120km ride ) the idle holds still at 1200-1300. three quaters of one turn out? Hm... My three full turns off seems to much! I will close bypass screws a bit and raise idle by left idle screw.
  5. no O2 sensor or convertor. It is 2001 Le mans. TPS at idle is 532mV Air bypass screws are 3 turns open. Valves are adjusted two weeks ago. I'll try the 165mV as basic settings and reffer back. thx for your help! Slavek
  6. Leo Vince Exhausts and KN filter equals moderate problem at 3000rpm on my lemans 01. After doing TPB (tps set to 150mV; idle running clear at 1200rpm) Bike has fires back to airbox at 3000rpm. No air leak on intake rubbers or exhaust pipes. This symptoms come up only when slowly accelerating up. under hard acceleration or closed throttle nothing happens. This really annoys me especially when cruising in city. What to do? I suggest, if the bike fires to airbox and exhaust, mixture is too lean, thanks to open cans and KN filter. Is there any way how to enrich mixture only in this particular rpms? I am thinkink of getting PC installed but if there is another way I am free for discusion. Slavek
  7. Hm... I have V11 '01. When doing TPB I noticed line about hoose connecting two vacuum ports on the valve heads. I do not have this and havent seen it even on never Guzzis. What is the point of connecting these ports? I have searched the forum and service manual but nowhere even a line regarding this "feature or bug". I have this in mind over two days now... So, any explanation? /To prevent some questions: No, I havent read guzziology yet
  8. I'd say it is normal and would not be worried about it. I like driving in the rain, every time I stop at the lights, water drained into my fairing slips onto the pipes and makes very special effects I feel like a real Misty Rider If your goose is running ok, you have enough oil and no leaks on oil linkage - there is nothing to fear about
  9. i used a self rubbing tape for anteenas and outside cable isolation. Stretched the coil few times in some places, it is flexible, does not look bad and is quite very cheap. 25m of this tape costed 2,5 USD Ask your local shop with accesories for wifi aplications
  10. My Yuasa is in bike since it run off Mandello factory. Now it is 7 yrs It is still working perfectly. Don't let it stay for long time in winter, charge on regular basis and do a looooooonnnngggggg rides so the battery will have a chance to get fully charged. If your bat dies every year, better check voltage regulator
  11. yes, I have to compensate that by visiting stein dinse shop, ordering huge amount of new rubber parts Adjusting valves, doing TPB, changing oil ..

It is all right Francesko, everybody makes mistakes I just wished to have my bike "shinny and polished" again You know, I've printed the photos you had loaded into the auction and brought them to garage to my beauty. There we carefully sellected which parts we will take and which forward to other V11 maniacs. My V11 was so happy that next morning she gaved me perfect one-starter-turn-start Maybe next time we both will have more luck Take care then Slavek

  17. I dont see any rear fenger. That big carbon thing is front fender as far as I am concerned. I d like to keep that one as I have only one half of fender Starter cover is no problem. I will wait as it arrives to me and then reply to you. Ok? Shipping to Usa is no problem.
