  1. I am sure Rich does a great job but I have only had experience with Spencers. Low price, super quality and fast turnaround. Worked for me.

    Whorage!

Looks great, very clean sound from the camera! I am amazed at the lack of wind noise. On a side note, is that the stock oil cooler screen or aftermarket?
  3. That sounds good Tracey, any pix? And how did you mount it on the cooler securely?
  4. I like the idea and am interested in the replies you get. Another thing: will the suction cup mount clear the tank chin pad?
  5. mmm...My oil cooler certainly does not have a protective grill. Could I get a photo if anyone has one available? Better yet would be a part number if I need to order one.
  6. I noticed a number of bent fins on the oiler cooler which is conveniently located right in the path of the front fender fling zone. Road debris is never going to go away so I wonder if anyone has come up with a readily usable radiator/cooler guard of some sort like that on some water cooled bikes?
  7. Thanks for the replies, gents.
  8. My Tenni didn't come with a tool kit, what is the size of the rear axle nut please?
  9. I ordered a sloppage plate from MPH last week. Since I am planning to do a track day with the Tenni at the National Rally, I figured putting one in along with an oil filter clamp is cheap insurance. Especially since I am so fast on the track
  10. I just ordered a pc545 today for $99.00 to replace my troublesome Yuasa. Seems the terminals are different from a standard battery. Is this something I should have ordered with the battery or can I adapt 'regular' terminals to the Odyssey?
  11. Exactly. I have a small business and I invoice my customers by email, then they send the money into my paypal account. It's easy and convenient for seller and buyer. When someone can see a product and click to buy instead of filling out a check, finding a stamp, addressing the envelope, and getting it mailed I bet lots of potential sales vaporize (in any business). Just go to paypal.com and follow the directions. Takes 10 minutes and you're done.
  12. Any chance that you could set up your site to accept Paypal? Payment is instantaneous and guys like me who don't like to write checks could just click and buy. I know you'd sell at least one more set of relays and maybe an oil pressure gauge.
  13. I am registered for the rally, can you pm me the discount code? Thanks.
  14. Any word on the track day after the rally? I haven't found a place to sign up on any of the boards I frequent.
  15. I had Spencer's Spencer's Seats redo my seat using a newfangled medical grade gel pad. So far no problems. He does good work for a great price.
  16. I've seen a couple of v11s with bubbles, what is the story with that? Does it require tank replacement?
  17. I have a bulb out too, could you keep us posted on how it goes, and maybe post a tip or two about removal of the lens cover without messing things up?
  18. Mine does too, especially on relatively cold days. I wonder if the Veglia gauges only do this or do the later ITI (black) ones fog up as well?
  19. Shame. Did you use the spacer kit referred to in one of the above messages? Sounds like I'm back to square one too.
  20. Nice work. Particularly impressive paint job. I'd like to see it up close at the nationals in June.
  21. Thanks for those pictures, I am convinced. I called for my application (02 Tenni) and they were unsure about the chinpad clearing the tankbag mount. Can someone with one of the pre-03 bikes check the part/model numbers to assist? I would like to order this set up for the trip down to the National. Thanks.
  22. I liked what I saw on the video but I have the same concern for these as for other risers I have seen; namely that they ruin the aesthetics of the bike. Does anyone have good photos of convertibars on a lemans?
  23. Well as I conjure up ways to fit luggage on the Tenni without scratching the paint too much I am intrigued by the tank bags that attach to the fuel filler cap. Supposedly they don't ever contact the paint, held above using a rigid bottom and a clip on device attached to the filler cap. I'd like some feedback if anyone has used one of these. Thanks. http://www.mo-tech.de/produkt/?produkt_id=...e58512d928b411a
  24. Your itinerary sounds about right to me, Van. Gold Beach is about 30 min North of me so if you head down early Monday morning we can saddle up and head down the coast. The ride down is quite good depending on fog etc. but you'll see some impressive sights among the giant redwoods and incredible coastal views. I'm not planning to camp anywhere including at the rally (I'll be staying at my brother's house in Long Beach) as my camping days are long past. If we stay somewhere north of the Golden Gate we can blast through it in the morning on our way down to Malibu. Staying on the 1 will take some extra time but it will be an neat ride. As far as eats go, I agree..local eateries rather than fast food is worth it. If I can find a place where items on the menu actually taste different from one another that is a good start.
  25. I'm on the southern oregon coast about 30min from the california border. I think taking the coast route down would be a blast, although there are some roads like 299 that cross to the 5 that might be worth traversing as well. lots of choices depending on time as always. keep in touch and let me know when your plans firm up.
