  1. I need two days to get all the way down the coast, so I figure on leaving the Oregon coast on Monday for Wed arrival. How does that fit in your plans, Van?
  2. Very Cool, Van. Are you going to ride at the track day?
  3. Well if your '02 were a Tenni, the choice would be obvious . Would you mind commenting on the TL centerstand installation and use, as well as ground clearance? Was it something you would do again? Thanks.
  4. We'll have to get all the Tennis to pit together. What an historic sight and sound this event will be. I hope someone who knows videography will be there to document it.
  5. Taking the Tenni on the track sounds like fun. I think I'll sign up. Will there be a suspension guy there? I'd like to get mine dialed in correctly.
  6. I've gone the soft bags route (chase harper) for 20+ years now, and think I will migrate to HB hard bags as soon as I find a good deal on a used set. It always bothers me on a trip when I have to worry about the luggage items being stolen out of an easily unzipped bag. Having said that, the soft bags are light and easy to move on/off the bike and have been quite durable as well.
  7. I'm going. I sure hope there is a larger number attending than what the poll shows. I suspect there will be more people coming in at the last minute.
  8. Aren't those just the stock bars switched front/back?
  9. This will set #119 apart from all those other Oregon Tennis
  10. I think it sounds like fun, Van. I'm planning to go anyway and arriving as part of the Tenni squadron would be a kick in the pants.

    Heel Guards?

Occasionally the heels of my boots rest on the leading edge of the exhaust cans. The carbon fiber is going to be scuffed soon and I'd like to find something that I can protect them with. I have searched but only found them for Ducati etc. Anything around for our bikes?
  12. Is it possible to get the gauge in white to match the veglia of earlier v11 bikes?
  13. http://www.sportcyclepacific.com/featureditems.htm
  14. Any chance to post a link or scan of the article?
  15. Went for $7200. A fair price for both buyer and seller I think. I am especially glad that it is considerably more than I paid for mine.
  16. Of interest to me is the fuel tank surround being gray. Anyone know when they painted these to match the tank? Anyway it should be interesting to see what it goes for.Tenni Auction
  17. As an aside, did you notice any differences in shift quality after putting in the Redline?
  18. Well if we had four it would encompass 2.35 percent of the entire series production. Obviously three bikes is somewhat less but still significant, considering the odds of any more than even one of these incredible bikes traveling down the road together. Therefore I suggest that any more than two makes for a Tenni squadron. It could be fun indeed. Al
  19. An impressive group indeed, but unlikely that they will make it to the National.
  20. What we ought to do is get the squadron together and ride down the the National next June. That would put on a nice show for the non-believers.
  21. I may have to see what Rich can do for me..I wouldn't mind altering the black seat a little bit. And that's a really nice look on yours. Between yourself, Garsdad and I in Oregon and whomever else is in California we could have a West Coast Regional Tenni Squadron Rally!
  22. Well I called the guy at motorworldonline.com and asked him about the LSL bars. He is a member of this list by the way and owns a ballabio. Anyway the bars look really nice, but I mistakenly thought that these were risers and you keep the clip ons. Apparently it's a conversion to a standard handlebar set up as some of you have already pointed this out in your replies. Increased comfort, no doubt, but I will continue to look for a system that allows me to keep the clip on style bars. Maybe I'll re read the thread from Zebulon about his bars, they seem pretty sturdy-although I have no desire to play with triple clamps, raising the forks etc. Al
  23. LSL Bar Risers Let me know what you think. I may contact the vendor to see what they have to say.
  24. I have ridden my new Tenni enough now so that I realize the reach to the bars is a bit much. Not a lot, but an inch or two up and/or back would be nice. I searched on the forum and like the looks of the MPH risers and was looking to get those. However I came across these from LSL and wonder if anyone has experience with them. They run about 1/2 the price of the MPH bars. Thanks Al
  25. Hi Van, What kind of seat have you got on the bike?
