What brand windscreen is that on your bike? Looks like it could work better than the mg screen. Is it wider than the mg screen? Fred

I noticed a super nice Lemans 2002 on ebay today. Real aharp green color. looks nice

2008 was a good year for my 02 Lemans. New tires, brakes, power commander, modded exhaust, airbox, new paint, gps mount, camera mount, clock and thermometer. Wife says "That's it!"

Wish I woulda taken in progress pics. Alas I did not. It's not hard to do, just very time consuming. I've done two sets so far. I slide the cover off, cut the ends off, drill spotwelds out, split the case down the seam, remove guts, reweld seam, weld front cap, fabricate perforated tube, install tube, pack, weld back end cap on, trim cover to fit, bore out hole in decorative endcap, and voila!, done. The color is off the custom BASF color chart called Peridot. The pictures don't do it justice. BTW, this is by far the best bike I have ever owned in 34 years of riding.

Being as cheap as I am, i modified my stock mufflers. Shortened about six inches, straight thru glass packed design. Great sound at a very low price. And still looks stock, which I like.

Well I took the pads out and cleaned them with brake cleaner. Reinstalled and no shudder. Musta had some gunk on a pad. Thanks for all the advice. Fred

Hey y'all, I just noticed today that when I come to a sto and get to just under 20mph my front brake shudders. very noticeable. i checked the pads and they are very good. Got any ideas? Fred

Unfortunately I have to sell my 02 Lemans. My old shoulders, wrists, amd knees just don't handle the riding position for very many miles. It is a very good running bike, with some extras going for a good price on ebay. fred

I'vew been a lifetime member of MGNOC since 1986 when I bought a new Lario. Loved that bike. Wish there was a market for a mini LeMans today. I'd buy one. Fred in Kansas

My brother and I are planning to ride the Adriatic coast of Croatia in 09. Know where we could rent bikes? Or even buy good used bikes? We go there fairly often and would love to have our own to keep there.

That is exactly what I did. Never rode a V11, till I bought one. Flew to Detroit from Wichita, took two days to go 800 miles in freezing weather. And I would do it again in a heartbeat. I love my 02 Lemans. Traded up from a Jackal, completely opposite bikes. fred

My 2002 lemans pings terribly in the midrange at high throttle openings. The bike is totally stock. Any ideas what could cause this and how to fix? Or do I need to take it to my dealer? I bought it used and it has always done this. Fred

I have first hand knowledge that a Jackal will fit in a Toyota Previa minivan.
