  1. Pictures can be seen here: https://southjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/6261427287.html
  2. I hope it's ok to post my own CL add. https://southjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/6261427287.html
  3. Very similar. Only has black stripe from the gas cap forward.
  4. That is it, but it has a fly screen. I have a lot of pictures of the bike I'm just having trouble uploading to the website. I am at a severe technical disadvantage
  5. It has clipons and instruments are fork mounted.
  6. According to Jim at rose farm it is a bit of a hybrid, All bright red. Has the bikini fairing and clip-ons. Black forks. I'd be happy to email pics as I'm having a tough time posting pictures.
  7. I'm selling my 2004 V11 Sport that I bought brand new from Rose Farm Classics in 2009. This bike was a New old stock that Jim had gotten from Guzzi. Before having it shipped to me in New Jersey, Jim went thru the entire bike and set it up perfectly. Jim removed the emissions canister, set tps, lubed the drive shaft, lubed the Cush drive, put in a K&N and replaced all the relays on this brand new bike. I have changed all three fluids and filter (with hose clamp)every spring since I have owned it. This spring I changed all 3 oils, clutch and master cyl fluid, pushed new grease thru the u-joints, spark plugs, and new battery. Ferracci did do one annual service, in 2010, when he installed and dyno'd the ti exhaust Ecu I acquired and he removed the rattling crossover pipe. I had bought a ti exhaust kit, kept the Ecu and sold the pipes. Bike has Ti Ecu, rizoma mirrows, rizoma turn signals, rizoma grips, mistral exhaust, Guzzi tail rack. I have all parts meticulously boxed that were removed, including stock Ecu and mufflers. The bike spent 95% of its life in my living room, and the remainder in my garage. It does not leak or even weep any fluids. It is in pristine condition with virtually no signs of use. The only blemish on it is a very small chip on the left side of headlight faring and a scuff on the top of speedo bezel that were there from the day I got it. I also have an unused factory tank bag. The bike is on the original tiers that still have the nubs on them. The tires look perfect but I would suggest replacing them because of their age. Also included is a never installed Roper kit and new handle bar risers I never got around to installing. If you have any questions please email me and I will give you my phone number so we can talk or get you pictures . I'm not a big email or text guy. Price is $7000 and I'm located in south Jersey about 40 min from Philadelphia. Pictures here: https://southjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/6261427287.html
  8. Scud... You and Pete did it. Thanks men!!
  9. Thanks scud. Appriciate the thorough explanation!
  10. Hi scud. Can you elaborate on this issue a bit more. Thanks!!
  11. My plate arrived. Thanks Scud and Pete for all the effort.
  12. The bike is better off with out all that epa junk.
  13. Thankyou scud for all the effort and putting this together. And a mutual Thankyou to Pete for once again helping the guzzi community!!
  14. Hmmm, I will update profile but to answer your question, I'm in the US in New Jersey
  15. I'm in for sure! I would pay in advance if it helps Pete get the ball rolling.
  16. I don't have a plate, but I do want one and plan to get one hopefully very soon. I know I would only buy a "Roper plate" as it was thought out and tested by a man that knows his V11's. But more importantly by a man that goes out of his way to help us all keep our crankie machines going. I don't know Pete at all but I do know his posts have helped me sort my machine, if Petes was twice the price of the knock off I would still want to support him.
  17. Good lookin bike. There were quite a few "parts" bikes built in 2004. I have one I bought brand new. Looks identical to yours except it's all red, and my front fairing is different. Same black front end , clipons, gray valve covers, and blue knob on rear shock. I'll try to get some pics up for you.
  18. Hi. Won't be home for a few days and want to order Apex adjustable clip ons. I don't know which size to get. I have an 04 v11. I'm not sure of model as it was one of the last 04 built. Think guzzi kinda pieced it together with what was on the shelves. I bought it brand new in 2009 as a left over from rose farm. It has black marzuchi ? Forks. Not Olin's. I can email a knowledgable person some pics. Thanks in advance-AL
  19. Steve thanks so much for sharing with us. Really great information. I'm going to order mine today. Will post up with a follow up
  20. I purchased a new 2004 v11 in 2009.Always wanted a V11 and was so happy to find a new one.No issues at all.Would change all fluids and ride.Mine did come from Rose Farm so was confident it was properly set up, and it was.I love mine !
  21. Thanks guys, and a big big thanks to Jaap.I dont know what Id have done with this bike with all this "charm".Im so glad I can finely get to burn some gas. Tekkanen you are right,it is becoming quite addicting .I cant quit put my finger on it.Its not the best handling bike Ive ridden. Its not the fastest nor the most comfortable. All I do know is I really do enjoy riding this bike. And for me I find it absolutely beautiful .
  22. Hello, new guy here and need to express my thanks to this wonderful forum.I have been riding Japanese bikes for the past 8 yrs, with nary a problem.I looked at a new V11 back in 2002 but bought a Hayabusa instead.Loved the performance ,comfort and reliability of the Busa. After too much time spent at law braking speeds I decieded it was time to slow down a bit.I started looking at harleys and realized that there just wasnt enough sport in them for me.Then I came across the Guzzi line again. I decieded I liked the V11 the most out of the line up.Although the 8v Griso caught my eye ,but it was out of my price range. While searching around the internet for a V11 ,I was lucky enough to find a new left over 2004 V11 (wow)!!!.I bought it up immeadiatly and had it shipped to me. My first ride was short (30 mi) and I had a few problems that I thought might be driver error or break-in related.I was getting worried that I should have bought another Japanese bike and no tried to get tricky with this sexy Italian iron.I had a really low idle, poor performace,a hard /no start situation, and a hard time getting into and past 3rd gear. Well I have nothing new to tell you that hasnt been gone over on the forum.I had to adjust TPS and sync throlltle bodies which cured the low idle and the bike now pulls and runs like a frieght train.I noticed that when the bike wouldnt start ,and would just crank and crank,I didnt hear the fuel pump prime.I immediatly ordered all new relays from Dan.He sent them out right away and I got them in 2 days(fantastic service).Put new fuel pump relay in and bike turns right over and starts with just a touch of the button.I also installed a PC545 battery. Last and scariest issue for me was the transmission problem. After a few short rides I determined the shifting was not break-in related or my error.Searched the forum and found out everything about the adjuster behind the acorn nut.Followed forum instructions and found the sweet spot on the first tweak.Shifts/clicks like a snap-on ratchet now. I dont know what I would have done without the info from this forum.I thought I made a big mistake with my purchase in March 2009.I couldnt believe that a new machine could have these problems.Heck I didnt even think I was capable of fixing these problems. My thanks to all the knowlegable people on this site and thier willingness to share with the rest of us. My next project will be to do my first service and install Stucchi crossover and factory Ti exhaust and ECU.And you can bet I will be searching the forum for advise on how.THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE-AL By the way any New jersey/SE penna riders outthere??
