  1. I have enough padding of my own to keep me floating...
  2. The dutch importer is one of my customers. Great product, very nice finish and most important: it works!
  3. That IS ugly. And a shame.
  4. You can race everything that has an engine! Even things without:
  5. My favourite hole in the ground is Bryce Banyon. Don't miss it!
  6. Same in Holland! And tomorrow I'll be supporting Paul Minnaert who is one of the contenders at the Ducati Club Races in Assen. Also two Italian MGS in the Sound of Thunder. What a treat!
  7. Please...
  8. I testrode both and decided for the V11... Thank God.
  9. I'm going to take the afternoon off (screw the customers! ) and visit the nearest Duc dealer for a fitting session. Maybe I have some exhaust work for them too. It will fit. I have to make some new steel brackets, but that's easy. The one I'm going to buy is an original Ducati Performance fairing made out of aluminium. Very nice and goes well with the V11 style.
  10. I can get my hands on a cheap Duc Monster bikini fairing. Will this fit the V11 without serious modifications?
  11. I had my seat rebuilt by Rich Maund. He raised it about 2 cms (4/5 inch?) Much more comfortable on my knees.

Hee Sjon, een nieuw lid en nog Nederlander ook! Welcome to the forum, and maybe we'll meet on the road or at a meeting somewhere. Picture looks like Cevennes? Ardeche?
  13. Some pics in the Gallery
  14. Gary, if the only mod to your bike are the Mistrals, you don't have to worry. From what I've read a free flowing exhaust only doesn't need a changed map on your Eprom. However, when you start extending your mods (X-over, K&N filter, etc.) you can opt for a PowerCommander or have the Eprom "flashed" (written over by a custom map) by someone who knows what he's doing. If you want more info on the PowerCommander, just do a forum Search
  15. Thanks! The weather is shite at the moment, but this made my day already, and it's only 9.30 AM.
  16. Marketing...
  17. I stumbled upon this V11LM picture on eBay: eBay link Did I see this picture before?
  18. Nowing Guzzi a bit, they didn't change sizes. Much too expensive!
  19. T&A so close together... joy!
  20. I use the compressor too. Works like a charm.
  21. They were built in the late 50's by the Nederlandse Kaiser-Frazer Fabrieken and they were called Nekaf. When I was enlisted in '86 we were the last company using these old tractors. Heck, our personal weapon was the same used by the US Army in WWII! The Jeeps have since all been replaced by Landrovers and now by Mercedesssss.
  22. That's some serious off roading! cool! I bet my Dutch built Jeep I drove in my army year wouldn't stand a chance...
  23. What's a budgie?
  24. It's all wishfull thinking... I'm still convinced the MGS and the V11 are the last sporting Guzzi's.
