I just don't believe it... people getting upset and start insulting each other over f***ing cush drives!

I'm riding for 3 years w/o cush drive and all is well (knock on wood)

I just can't believe how much time and energy is spent (imo wasted) on the cush drive rubber's technical specs. I think I'm going to ride tomorrow: 13 degrees and partly clouded. Springtime!!! And Sunday it will be even better

I think Calais-Dover is the cheapest/shortest. But then you have to ride all the way through England to get to the meeting in Scotland. A 2-way ferry with cabin and bike from IJmuiden (NL) to Newcastle is about € 300,-
