Are you trying to be funny, or are you just F@&$&*$ed up?

I've got some Wolfman throw overs, and tail pack, work very well. I don't think I'd use any throw overs on the V11, as I'd be too concerned about paintwork chaffing on the tail bodywork. The only softbags I'd use on a V11/Lemans are the Techno kit. Ciao, Steve G.

I thought the name of the place was Torino. Ciao, Steve G.

Wherabouts did your wife's mishap occur Jim? Glad everything's ok. Hope they give you the true replacement cost of the truck. You know how insurance is, unless the truck was new enough to have purchased replacement cost insurance. Where are you right now? Speaking of riding, I'll be out on one of my other ones Saturday. I've been asked if my Jota can be made available for a pictorial in an upcoming issue of Road Rider Magazine. The photographer/editor has a few choice locations offering an Italian theme I'm sure. Ciao, Steve G.

This picture's been out for a couple years. I read the guy lived, and is in good operating order. He rode a Harley off a turn into a fence. Ciao, Steve G.

Skipton?? I been there, nice little town. I have to say though that Theakstons ESB is way better in Masham than Skipton. They spin the barrels softer! Ciao, Steve G.

I agree, these guys who run WSB and GP are gods. No other sport or motorsport has people as talented, brave, and driven as these guys. Nothing, no-one compares, not even close. Ciao, Steve G.

The 2001 has the proper colored silver/grey engine. It is also the one which will gain collector value quicker as it's the original. It has the proper 1 color paint scheme. No question with me anyways, the series one model is the keeper. Ciao, Steve G.

My money and my heart is on Troy Bayliss. A class guy, with great talent on the V-twin. Ciao, Steve G.

Damn, I'm going to have to check mine again, you guys are scaring me. I honestly thought all along that this Sachs shock problem was at the top of the shock. Ciao, Steve G.

Sooo, What are you saying cheap?

Man I'd love to take my big D/P thing up in there. Problem is, it's a US state park, and the forest rangers are serious buggers, I'd spend the weekend in the Bellingham jail for sure.

It didn't get washed out did it?? Crap!

I can't find that

Ahh yes, the Mushroom Addition, been there many times. If you ever stop there and need fuel, you should know that his [87] octane pump only is in fact 91, good enough to get you down the road for octane sensitive V11/Lemans engines. Wonder if Wolfgang is planning on a stop at Wolfgang's rally, I think he's got some Laverdas. Ciao, Steve G.

Hey, what are you guys talking about with Kaslo, my favourite little town in the Kootenays, at least for breakfast! And Jay Leno in Fauqier?? What's going on guys, I'm out of the loop. BTW, Fauqier, I pronounce it "fo-keer", yet some say it's "foquee-ay". What do you guys say? Ciao, Steve G.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but looking at the lovely black V11 of Bbennett's, I think, tellme, is this not the summit of Mt. Baker in Washington State USA? Ciao, Steve G.

I'm using the factory issue one, very happy with it, as long as you put protective tape on the tank where the front straps wrap around the headstock. On a par with a BMW tank bag. Ciao, Steve G.

It's only the rarest of occasions when the destination excedes the ride. Lets just say it complements the ride. Of course it's always a bonus when you can put the Screamin' Eaglets back in their place. What is it with these guys? Do they equate noise output directly with power output? If that's the case, a ZX10 should have 25hp. Ciao, Steve G.

I might be talking about a different model of Napolean mirror. I was talking specifically about the "Beren" model, which is specifically a bar end mirror. The rear view vision of these two mirrors is a high degree better than stock. And almost as important for me, these fit the characteristic of the bike, that being it's overall identity [V11 Sport] as a cafe racer. They enhance the low and lean look, the look that should usually include the clocks [guages] being the highest part of the assembly from the triple tree/lights area. Ciao, Steve G.

I have always liked the higher than average convex mold of the Napolean Berens, allowing a wide expanse. As far as the vibration, I must admit I cheated a bit. I surmised the vibes would be worse, or at least the vibes would be moved around the handlebar area. So, I melted lead [do this outside and upwind, this stuff is not for breathing in] and poored it into the end of each handlebar, allowing enough space for the fastening rubber [or in my case, the brass bevelled sleaves from the Agostini bar end weights] to fit in. Guess I must be lucky, for there is little if any thing vibes wise, and I'm fussy about this, as my hands go pure white at the first hint of vibration. Ciao, Steve G.

Hi Jim, That's an annual ride for the group I run with. A 2 dayer for sure, but 3 would allow for wine tasting! That road from Concrete to Winthrop has really gotten screwed up lately by speed tax collectors, I've gotten nailed by that guy who lives in Marblemount every bloody year for the last 3. Last year I got it just after passing 2 Harley's on a double yellow line, that were holding me up big time. As I remember they were holding up a logging truck too! Ciao, Steve G.

My 2 local dealers have sold out every one, and they havn't all arrived yet. They will save Ducati from hitting the financial wall in the short term [the other bikes are selling poorly, except the Monster of course]. They are of course lovely looking things to most everyone who grew up around the old bevel drive machines, which to me are pure Ducati. I've probably brought this up before, but I can't help thinking that Moto Guzzi with the V11 was perhaps 6 yrs ahead of Ducati in this new trend of making retro machines with cosmetic characteristics from older models. Makes you wonder which road Moto Guzzi is going down with the complete departure of this trend, with the baby boomers just now starting to spend huge money on grown up toys that call from their youth. Ciao, Steve G.
