    I have a question  :thumbsup:

    The oil started to leak from the generator cover. When I dismantled the motor, I replaced the oil seal which stands in front of a generator, and put a new one instead. What could have caused to oil leak? Will it be possible replace it without removing the front cover of the motor frame? And how critical is that, since I'm planning to do this sometime before the winter ...

  2. Hi, everybody! It appeared that I broke the generator (after crankshaft breakage by a rotor beat about a stator) and it didn't give tension. Today I changed the generator. But the bike very weak charge of the accumulator. I changed the relay regulator, thought a problem in it, but it not helped. And all the time are heated fuss for accumulator and it's body melts (Replacement of a safety lock by MAX the version will help only?). In what there can be a problem?

  3. I got it! And there is a complete list of TIGHTENING TORQUES? In Workshop manual it seems not all bolts are specified. For example Cap (12 02 26 00 - A6 page in parts catalog) in head. I hardly turned off it and with what we will strengthen to twist, I don't see.  :wacko:

  4. Konstantine, crankshaft GU37064106 is replaced by GU01064131, standart for 2A (second serie V11). In V11 engine you can mount both variants. The part is identical for Quota 1100, Sport 1100, California EV/Special/Stone 1997-2004

    By the way, you were right. o-rings under the rocker arm were worn. Just in the beginning I gave the bike a person who is engaged in repair of motorcycles and asked them to replace, it was my fault because he or did not change them, or those O-rings 

    Is the 10th digit in the serial number a "1" (2001) or a "2" (2002)?

    More recently I have been working web programmer and study on absentia. But just my specialty mechanical technician in the field of metalworking equipment, and before that I worked at the factory. 

  7. Clutch works terrible, although smell gone.
    I have a few questions regarding the issue.
    1) Reaction rod silent blocks are broken. Is it possible to replace it or I have to replace the Reaction rod entirely.
    2) It’s time to replace a battery. I need ODYSSEY PC 545, and they are available with cover plate and without it, is that correct?
    3) I heard that many people replace a relay, but I have no idea what is the reason. Could you please advise regarding this and what type of relay should I use for replacement?
    4) If I start an engine right after it was turned off using side stand, idle is not stable (looks like the engine wasn’t warmed-up). What is your ideas regarding this? Relay ?
    5) Whom should I contact regarding price and delivery of Roper plate? Pete Roper?  Is “ gutsibits” for £95.00 his product?
    6) I’ve dismounted an engine and going to check a clutch, also I have to replace gasket within the left head of cylinder block (replacement of O-rings under rocker arm didn’t stop oil leakage). Is any distinctive features in disassembling those units I have to pay more attention?
