  1. I have a Photobucket account, I filled up the free space and now pay for it. They now host videos. I tried to check upto what size - it says 10 minutes max. They might default out at this size click to see movie
  2. I got mine from Demon Tweeks I don't know what your best supplier in the Netherlands would be. It seems to come in three diferent coloured bottles but seems to be the same
  3. But the GPS on the same page is just the thing
  4. Start with this link but look at the two links in the first post. It will make perfect sense Poor mans photoshop, just screen shots cut and paste in "paint" and a bit of text added. other examples that have appeared here at some time Weather forecast Jason's ointment Chav forum skin Like the topics? Jason's new bike Guy on his Monster That thing is The Crazy Frog - an annoying thing I take it he never reached the States, Make room for a large one I'm coming over to escape
  5. Quiz point (mkII) Stump Bodge Golden Bodge original quiz point
  6. I'll give some of my secrets away You said it was French, so I got my in the back there is a list of all manufacturers by country, just went through the relevant letters and when found one of the right vintage and not just making velocipedes or scooters Google image searched it. Then refined the search into text search when it looked plausible.
  7. Thank you. I only got it because of Alex's clues. I should have gone to bed but seemed do able with those last clues. It was very interesting looking through that range of manufacturers, shame I couldn't read much of the websites with my U(nclasified) grade failure at O(rdinary) level French (exam taken at school when 16 years old) It does embarrass me when I meet up with you guys
  8. Rhony X 1930 500 1929 350 My book says they made a 490cc overhead camshaft unit construction chaise engined model - is that the one your photo is of? Edit - more pictures
  9. It's just a sleeve. I didn't use mine. Seemed too long and didn't go into the recess in the foot rest hanger. Yours probably has pulled slightly in to the recess- interference fit That gives you the options; 1- Use heat try and get both parts to expand - don't know relative rates 2- Twist and pull - vise grips likely to scratch the sleeve, also have a bolt inside so doesn't crush 3- just hit the f**ker and hope it's not too far in that it damages the bracket 4- replace the hanger (£35ish a throw got sent one once when I wanted the exhaust can to bracket hanger) 5 - leave the wire hangers on they're not too intrusive I leave my hangers on Good luck
  10. a bodge would be to repair the buttons with broken down cocktail sticks, as it stands it's just buggered
  11. I initially had an Oxford Products LCD digital clock velcroed into the fairing. I managed to bugger it up when changing the battery Had it face down and pushed too hard with the screw drivers to undo the back and pushed in the buttons on the front I then used the wife's old watch around the brake master cylinder , didn't work too well and battery went flat very quickly. Wrist watch in the tank bag moves and often isn't readable. I've avoided anything that goes on to the triple tree yoke as would be obscured by the tank bag. I've contemplated Velcro watch on to the lid of the clutch/brake master cylinder, but will probably put something back on to the existing Velcro pad.
  12. I'm not sure where you got that idea from as I've not posted yet on this subject. Perhaps you just know me too well Punk - I'd have been 13, some of my peers were in to it. We were more rock but covers a wide genre, I was more into main stream punk Stranglers; Clash - I had my London Calling album stolen from a party. It took me years to replace that on to CD ended up with an extorionatly priced import, only to see it on normal release a couple of months later When I was in the RAF some of my favorite music (still is) Pink Floyd and esp Roger Walters, a very strong anti war theme there. And some of the best rock music could be said to promote drugs and other non establishment ideals. I can appriciate where the song writer is comming from, enjoy the medium of his message, but disagre, and then give the hippy beatnick anarcist punk a good kicking as I throw him into the cells ( just kidding - you all know its down the stairs and then into the cells) Whilst I fit some of the typical cop sterotype - fat and donuts (haven't always been so fat) I have my own mind and treat people evenly and fairly. It's only when you try and have one over me I turn in to a vindictive bastard. I like to think my mind is still broader than my waist I think some of the punk scene lacked anything other than shock value, and that part died off quite quickly once everyone was doing it. I never went to small venues giving bands their chance only infrequently to bigger venues and established names. Perhaps I should have. I can't quite see me there now, perhaps my mind isn't as broad as my waist after all. So gob on you, Mr Roper, Sir
  13. Speed Triple - thats already won one of their tests - seems to a similar size/style, I'd think the Griso would definately come behind that. What was intresting was the last all "group test winners" group test. The R1200GS which had been heralded as all the bike you ever need came last. They smashed the sump out and the next day crashed (only one they did) of the Ducati 999 and didn't hold that against it in a real world way as they reverted back to racer types. and the distanced covered on the touring test The riding skills writer stuffed his CBF1000 in to the undergrowth after an overtake into bumpy tarmac leading into a bend. He was quite badly hurt but looks like will mend so it can now be seen as ironic I did stop buying it, managed a couple of months before relapsing, no hope for me now winter is nearly on us.
  14. I found this quite amusing. Telling him he was under arrest and then proceding to give him the caution, whilst being dragged Thats where the stiff British upper lip is, as asked here For those non English footy fans try and get a sighting of the second goal in the Croatia v England match tonight. It's karma for laughing at the Welsh result over the weekend.
  15. My dad taught me the shims on the brake cam trick for the Bultacco Sherpa T Trials bike. Th e brakes were seriously rubbish. Would just about do untill you had a wet section and then it would be a 5 as you ran out the bottom on any section with a descent. My TY175 was a lot better but the disc brake on our later Fantic was a revalation
  16. Well what was it? Can anyone else fall into this trap? Was it the allen bolt that needs the cut down key?
  17. I have my concerns over some of the recent laws passed over here. They give quite draconian powers and on some there doesn't seem even to be a method of appeal. ie Section 59 Police Reform Act 2002, and the way that fingerprints and DNA are now taken and kept even if never charged, and disposals are recorded on the PNC (Police National Computer)( historicly would have arrest historys and disposal historys (convictions) now all arrests show under disposals so there is no easy way of just showing convictions) In certain circumstances this can be a good thing - Might have prevented Ian Huntley getting into a postion of trust where he could kill two young girls. But generaly I'm not convinced. Notionally I'm all for Id cards etc but I'm sure the goverment will make a mess of any legislation enacting them making it useless.
  18. Just to put it in perspective UK dealer Corsa Italiana V11 SPORT REG 2001, 5400 MILES £3750.00 FULLY SERVICED, NEW REAR TYRE, VERY GOOD CONDITION Obviously this is a dealer so will get sales of goods act cover etc I've not seen this have no conections with the dealer etc.... But it's not too far off the ebay bike. Perhaps a fuller tral of the UK dealers will find a closer match to give you a ball park position.
  19. Not going to be much help looking at my Lemans frame type TA010 - not sure what difference there will be, you've also got the extra brace under the gearbox, there night be fairing lugs or not. I'd imagine there be as common as possible, Perhaps they stamp up the different models differently? Also a 2 year - though this has also been described as model year 111420 - This is the interesting bit - do they number them sequentially as they drop of the assembly line, do they allocate them in batches to each model. There was a long debate on the LM mk1 frame numbers in the Gambulunga (Owners club magazine - well worth joining- the web sites not a patch on this but the magazine is reputedly the best club magazine)) I bought mine in July 03. I don't know how long it had been sitting in it's crate. They don't fly out the show rooms. Perhaps some other Sport/Naked owners can shed some light with theirs. Does it really matter in the long run - Overall condition is probably far more important and how it's been looked after. But I'm no expert on this Look forward to seeing you next year at the Erin - provided it goes ahead after some unsavory behaviour in the camp site this year (I missed it in my drunken stupor in my tent at the far end of the site) and the "facilities" failing.
  20. I've not seen an indicated 130mph on my V11 it runs out at 125, But it has ample performance where I normal use it sub 90. I have seen an old GSX1100R bugger off into the distance on aceleration from the lights. But thats not what it's all about. Yes it will give "ultimate" performance away to the BMWs. We've all looked beyond the figures on the magazine test reports otherwise we wouldn't be here. The new owners will (have to) do the same.
  21. Oh you can't not even after dark We'll have one for you, whilst you sit back and enjoy BOTM
  22. Curious about the forks. Moved away from USD which is now derigeur on sporty motorcycles I think this year saw them on all the big 4's and Triumph. But have gone for wavy disks but not radial calipers. A curious mix of Bling and Non Bling. Not that I could tell the difference in riding Seems are staying with the modular format. Take the Breva , add a version of the 1200 engine, a few cycle parts and different seat - New Model created - not too different from the V11 series Perhaps it won't be too difficult to change the tankside trim and headlight mounting to have a proper 1/2 fairing ala our Lemans That I'd be really intrested in. I quite like this 1200S . Perhaps they've been looking at what BMW have been doing and following suit ie base; S; RS; RT & GT models you never know even a GS?
  23. Jason I can help you with that:- Barrett talks crap. See what you've done, you've acted as the catalist that takes a reasonable request and causes the thread to go off topic and become nonsence. Sorry Dan it's in our nature. Oh and what intervals are people changing the Redline?
