Ballacraine
A damn shame..... I won't forget seeing that wildcard ride he had waaaayy back..... Long hair flowing and bike pressed beyond its limits... 'Committed' didn't cover it...... Condolences to family & friends. Nige.
v50man
So sad. He and Haga are (were) my favorite Japanese riders. Both had that kamikaze spirit and riding style -- something a mere mortal (coward) like myself could only dream of. He peaked way too early, but his memory will be sorely missed. I always kinda thought that if David Bowie were Japanese and a motorcycle racer, he would be Norick Abe. Weird thought, I know, but I think it every time I see a picture of this decidedly "Westernized" wisp of man. RIP
