Something is broken!

I changed the oil,.....and there where small metal particles in my sump.

Passed a magnet over them,... nothing!!!!

Does anybody know or guess, what parts non-magnetic can go wrong, and end in the sump???

The bike doesn"t yet...!!! makes any special noice, or something that indicates a problem, apart from the

particles in the sump.

WARNING!!!The bike is not my V11 ;) , but my Mille gt with 80000km about.

Sloppy timing chain seems to be the best candidate for aluminum bits, but it should be audible if thats the culprit..... Unless, Roper's been working on your bike and slipped in some aluminum gears to replace your reliable chain......

Truth, I have a timing chain, not gears in front,....and  I've never opened it to check the condition of timing chain.

Could that be?

Looks similar case to mine,....... and the verdict is more or less.......OPEN IT!!!!!!!

By the way thanks to Roper"s Guzzi engine strip (http://www.guzzitech.dk/english/index.htm) :notworthy: ,..... I got an idea of what can go wrong at the lower part of a Guzzi engine :luigi:

Hope to fix it before.......... :oldgit:
