It's called demo racing to show the spectators how racing in the 50's/60's/70's used to be. Although officially there isn't a competition, the competition is sometimes fierce... ;)

And for normal races the organsiers never would get a permit, they call it demo racing and suddenly a lot is possible.

Tracks are normal roads, mostly in and around villages.

Thats great Jaap, loads of fun! Make sure you get a good supply of spare parts to take to the track with you those practice laps are just as much for the bike as the rider!

This picture caught my eye. I've always been attracted to the smaller displacement bikes but have never done anything with them because I'm a BIG bike sized guy. Doesn't seem to matter to this rider! (Have fun Jaap, looks like it will be a blast)!

I also spent this past Monday at the Vintage Races in Loudon NH and have been bitten very hard. I am considering racing a V50 next year (Need time to get racing license, some spares, one piece leathers etc)
