. . .jeez wheres this global warming :homer:

Well, you could ask this World Famous Harbor Mermaid, photographed during last month's Freezing Global Warming KlusterFarge in Kobenhavn, but I don't think she'd tell, even if she knew. ^_^

. . . She might be a little, err. . . 'frosty of temperament' of late, not being used to snow sticking to her World Famous um, 'assets' -- for (apparently) the first time in recorded history -- and before the start of Winter, at that.

She still looks like that BTW, Ratchet. Has been snowing more or less non-stop for the last month or so. And we'll get more snow tonight.... :(

Getting cabin fever now! Two bikes in the stables, wife's Monster 695 and my Scura, but absolutely no way anybody can take them for a spin........

Egads, Søren!

You'd think someone would have pity on the poor girl, err. . . fish? . . . girl-fish? . . . and at least give her an anorak -- wouldn't you?? I mean, the poor thing hasn't so much as a brass bra for her bronze boobies!! :o

Maybe if there are lots more (and lots bigger) carbon footprints in or about Kobenhavn coming soon, and if you could get your fellow Danes to give up some o' that infamously corrupt local carbon trading :P -- at least you could get the climate back to a normal Winter?!?!

Snow in Denmark!?!?

Marcellus: Let's follow. 'Tis not fit thus to obey him.

Horatio: Have after! To what issue will this come?

Marcellus: Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

Horatio: Heaven will direct it.

Marcellus: Nay, let's follow him.

Probably the Something is rotten in the state of Denmark is an over used cliche, but somehow so often appropriate to the situation, especially in this case, LOL!

Wierton Willy, (or was that Jesus) just got hauled out of his cave yesterday and saw his shadow. This can mean a couple things- 6 more shitty weeks of hockey and 6 more shitty weeks of winter. In any event the end of this spell is coming, soon the bike can be back on the road! :bike: Meanwhile the Welcome Wagon has run just about all of us over here in Vancouver. Duddley Doright and the gang are on the job protecting us from that which we created. Its remarkable the jobs lost in resource and manufacturing, are being recouped in the security sector. Have to post a letter to Bin Hidin thanking his organisation for their contribution to this economy. Oh its a wicked world, time to work on the relevant skills necessary to enjoy the riding season. Cheers all. :bier:

Obama calls capital’s blizzard ‘Snowmageddon’

By Associated Press

Saturday, February 6, 2010 - The Boston Herald

WASHINGTON — "Snowmageddon" — that’s what President Barack Obama calls the storm that’s shut down Washington.

His motorcade made it a few blocks through deserted streets so he could speak at the Democratic National Committee’s winter meeting on Saturday.

In his opening remarks, Obama thanked activists for being willing to brave the blizzard. The streets around the hotel where the meeting was held were blocked by snow and police ahead of Obama’s arrival.
