Tommy Molotov Posted June 28, 2014 Share Posted June 28, 2014 The end is all chewed up. I put a new one in, but even the new one sits too low for the valve adjustment screw to properly reach. pete roper Posted June 29, 2014 Share Posted June 29, 2014 Cams and tappets are fed by splash, plate won't help there. If the adjuster won't take up the slack though the only real option unless the pushrod has collapsed is a buggered cam and tappet. Pete Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
