gstallons Posted October 28, 2016 Share Posted October 28, 2016 When you look for the ignition system arcing , use a spray bottle of water in a glass cleaner bottle . Spray it on the wires , plug caps , etc. & if there is arcing going on it will show up . If it does , remove the wires and caps . Cdogger Posted October 28, 2016 Author Share Posted October 28, 2016 Could be normal valve train noise. Have you adjusted the valves? Otherwise, run it in the dark and look for electrical arcing from the spark plug wires. I have not adjusted the valves. It isn't to loud and I think I'm just not used to hearing it because my cars engine is buried in about a foot of steel (crown Victoria). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
