guzzigary
Just wondering what products/techniques folks have used to refresh the Tekno bags. Thanks.
docc
Quite a long time ago, a member here used a light dusting of satin Krylon to refresh the fading. I scrub mine down every couple years and reapply.
footgoose
I'd be tempted to give them a good waterproofing like NikWax or comparable. See if that darkens it some.
docc
I've done the waterproofing, CampDry and others. They do not appreciably restore the faded black (purple?) . . . but found that the darkening with a *spray paint* is nearly as water repellent. That said, I always use a polyethylene liner inside the panniers. AKA : *garbage bags*
guzzigary
SEM Color Coat #15013 Landau Black Auto stores, flexible spray coating for vinyl, plastic, carpet etc. Two light coats, very nice result !
