Maybe 'image scale' doesn't always do what it promises?

I tried to change it several times this morning- it kept saying files were too large even though I had used them as avatars on this site before.

 

Then it accepted one- but just shows a line.

I think Slug has a new avatar now. Is it a new, new one, or the new one that you couldn't see? Are all new avatars going south or what can you see on your 'puter screen now? Do I need to change?

Don't know what's going on, but I have no problems with avatars. (FireFox on XP) I have uploaded a new avatar - not resized by me, but by the forumsoftware, Let me know what you see. I also uploaded it:

Couldn't halp noticing that your Avatar had grown to GIANT size.

It's a giant size YOU. Is it meant to be the bolts picture that is in your post? If so, looks like the same problem that I've had before: old avatar changes to size of new avatar but doesn't show the new picture.

 

EDIT

No, it's ok. I did a refresh and the Giant You has now changed to the new bolts/screws picture.

I can see all the avatars, btw.

It seems that every reposted avatar comes up as a flat line

I altered a setting in the avatar upload section.

Could you try again? When uploading you can set it to your own dimensions. Just fill in the width (max 150 px) and the height will adjust automatically.

 

Dunno if this helps, but it's worth a try.
