Jedone...so it's you who purchased the "Pro-Thunder", I was asking Arnold who he sold it to and he replied...a guy down in SoCal. Funny also I was asking Greg Fields to ask Todd Eagen who eventually purchased it. That is a very cool bike

and quite fast when it's right, too bad it's a total loss system and because the crank is "lopped" off no chance of a charging system so it could be converted for street use. So take it to the track and blow peoples mind with the authoritative exhaust note. People love that bike...we met people we would never have met in the pits at Daytona...most wanted the "underdog" to win in the 750 Supersport.

What kind of Swing arm???

Not some thing that would allow one to put a

6 speed in there??? Ha ha.

Jean Marc, been admireing your ride from afar for

a long time. Beautiful.

I got your email address from Paul... So I'll be

contacting you with a boat load of questions.

Thats the one!

Taking her to Seca at the end of the month.

And over next couple of years I'll be finding

a way to make her Street-able.

A long slow search for a crank, lights, starter and

starting gear, electric... On and on.

But in the mean time, off to the track she goes.

Took a long time to talk Arnold into selling it.

Ya Hoooooooooo. And of course... Va-Rooooooommmmm.

Paul,

Now that I "Guzzihappiestcompletely", all one with the cosmo's.

My next dream is to have a garage like yours,

Tile, Carpet, Art and of course your tools!!!

Heck, since I'm dreaming, I'll just add you to

my garage over the winter.

Oh its nice to have dreams.

And just so everyone knows, she'll be staying

as is for sometime. Other than loosing rubber and

112 octane. But down the road... I'd like to do something

like Jean Marc's. I always wanted a G.B. that had that

1965 Ford "GT40" Lemans car. Light blue and polished

alloy.

rubber side down, stay warm, peace,

someone had asked where are the aftermarket engine builders earlier in this post....

I would like to know where these builders are for Guzzi engines, too. There are dozens and dozens of shops in the US building clone H-D engines based off of the Evolution design and some off of the Twin Cam engine.

[s&S, Patrick Racing, TP Engineering, Merch, etc. etc.]

They are made out of billet aluminum and capacity is bumped very high.

Are there any shops doing this with the Guzzi engine?

thanks...I would like to stay air cooled & add performance

Hoystaab,

It is I, Jedione68, and I had asked. Paul kind of covered it,

being that it is true that these guys are making something

bolt on, better engineered (whether we like it or not), and

SERIOUS BHP gains. So there is so far a company out

there thats doing it.

BUT (always)...

I'd like to see some companies go truely after "The after market"

market and start making some seriously radd bolt on, or

frame fitting stuff that gives ya the BHP and or Handling that

we all want, but keep it in the lines of Guzzi tradition.

I.E. No H2O cooler's, no chain drive.

The after market craze for Harley stuff is NUTS. You could

probly pick any part on our Harley and have a choice of 100

different ways to replace it.

Yes, I know, there are so many Harleys it makes sense.

Then again, from 1968 v7'class to 2005/6, how many

Guzzi and frames and engines are out there. It's would

seem to me, alot. There are some small differences between

early twins, to the Tonti frame twins, to the square head Tonti's,

to the 1100 Sports to Now the v11's. But not alot!!!

I say we get Paul to switch careers, get him and Dr. John and

some other Guzzi Guru's some funding and BLAM... We've got parts.

Why couldn't some one just make and sale a HEAD (SQ or RD),

cast it them selves copy cat style, yet reshape all the poring

angles and sizes, put bigger valves and springs, on and on and on.

Well, thats my two bits, gotta run, going out to the garage

to start testing some beers and figure out a way to get this

going. Hell, for starters, some one could machine me a set

of 90mm 12.1 Pistons. Since Augustini and RAM don't make

them for my 76 Lemans 1 (There 992 kit) any more and

I blew a hole in my right one at the beginning of summer!!!

Rubber side down, peace,
