But if you watched the game you would see that the IDIOT of a referee allowed equally bad challenges later on to go unpunished even by a free kick. But in fact USA got one goal, but they didn't score, and in the end you have to score goals to win matches. Link to comment

Furthermore; the "own goal" in these circumstances was a forced error from a good set piece and was also valid as a US goal. So, sorry, but your excuses for Italy don't wash! Link to comment

No, it wasn't forced, it was a clean error by Zaccardo He wasn't under pressure, the ball just rolled over the foot when he hit it. and Yes, Italy did play far below their capacity, I'm not happy with them at all tonight.
