I think these names like Eriksson and Gudmundsdottir are more common in Norway and Iceland. But I'm not actually Swedish, although some people think I look Swedish. I was just defending our Scandinavian friends against the scurrilous suggestion that they had not contributed fully to the development of civilisation. As you can see from the wonderful music of ABBA that only brings people together to have fun and contemplate the experience of life's emotion, this cannot be true.
