I used flexible rubber radiator hose of the diameter that allows the hose to slide over the airbox intakes. The original clamp holds everything in place. Plastic zip ties hold the front of the hose in place against the frame. I don't think that it makes a performance improvement. Though, it does not "ping" under load at low RPM as much as it used to.
