OK, Own up!

So there I am sitting in the pub, sticking $20 through the pokies and what happens? Some silly Irish bastard turns up, taps me on the shoulder and says "Are you Pete Roper?". Now normally the only people who ask me such things are coppers, he looked like a copper so I got ready to hit him and do a bolt, but then he sez he's conversed with me on the forum and has just recieved two sloppage sheets just before he and his much better looking wife flew out to Oz.

No I was a *wee bit squiffy* and can't remember his name so I've been playing guessing games. I reckon it's Big J. (I admit to being more squiffy now!) but we'll find out tommorow as I've told them to ring me when I'm sober and I'll escort them down to the beach house where they can frolic and cavort for as long as they wish.

Pete

PS if any of you other silly f@ckers decide to drop in? a couple of days notice will enable me to do all the fatted calf slaying and all that sorry business. A tap on the shoulder in the pub is fine, but I can do better  .

Some silly Irish bastard...I was a *wee bit squiffy* ...escort... frolic...cavort etc

Could it have been John O'Sullivan? I've 'a feeling' that he ordered one for a Centauro and a V.11. I've also got 'a feeling' that he was taking a trip to the underneath parts.

If it was BigJ he would have been speaking with a Scoootish accent, unless he puts on a fakey when he holidays with JOS' wife...

Pete,

Sounds like you have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. John O'Sullivan Esq., who counts most of S.W.Ireland within his estate & is a fine gentleman to boot... so far as I know (& I don't know much).

That'd be him! Scura owner, also has a Centauro. Blew the Scura up last year! Sorry, by the time I wrote that it had been a long night :drink:

Anyway I'm escorting 'em to the beach house tomorrow where I'll give 'em some instructions on where to eat and drink and leave it up to them how long they stay. They're over here for only two weeks and then off to NZ for a fortnight. I'll try and tee 'em up with someone over there.

ONLY yeah, poor old John, it's a hard life...

BTW check his credentials.

If he is little, then it really is little John.

If he is big, then it's Big J.

The lady??? – could be Nogbad.

Wisnae me. I've been down a hole with a gas pipeline for the last month or so.

Young O'Sullivan must be touring his holdings in the colonies.Lovely young fellow, fabulously wealthy of course. Rumour has it that,if he likes it down under,he's having County Kerry unzipped from the rest of Ireland and towed there behind his yacht.Actually, yacht is a bit misleading, you can land an F16 on the poop deck, such is it's size. :D

who is the rich man...?

Well it's not me. Although he drifts around on a Griso and has reputedly stumbled into a sloppage empire, Ropey denies it also. Baldini gives all his money to charity. Big J is a Scotsman and lives down a hole: so that only leaves Little John 'Celtic Tiger' O'Sullivan – must be him.

...and how can I befriend him?

Offer to cut his grass.
