  2. It most certainly is. Thanks, Buddy.
  3. It's a shorter track and just a bunch of guys having fun on a variety of vintage bikes... most of them AHMRA members... Bultacos, Vinrage XR Harleys... big singles.. on and on. More down home and smaller than the bigass mile race, with a greater variety of vintage bikes.
  4. I plan on going to the vintage flat track races at the fairgrounds.. then wandering over to the Circle and Meridian... then to the GP on Sunday.. weather looks just fine. Still have all 10 of those mobetta Panasonic relays.. haven't heard a word from you, Buddy...
  5. Caswell treatment will stop any future swelling. The latest generation of tank sealer works beautifully... Many many many fuel tanks that aren't made from metal are prone to this.. exposure to our domestic insane alcohol petroswill will expand them and deform them... dammit. Ducati and BMW plastic tanks suffer terribly as well... alcohol in fuel destroys about everything.. oil washdown in the cylinders...mixing atmospheric and condensational water into the fuel... the list goes on. Best plan is to seal the tank immediately when new and freah... second best is to thoroughly dry it and coat the inside with Caswell tank sealer... and be patient and deliberate with the process.... after the fact... use LIQUID POWER... made by PowerPlus... mostly used in 7000 Horsepower alcohol top fueled dragsters..lving.. never have.ifor a prevents cylinder oil washdown and may preclude any more swelling.. and will preserve your engine and protect it from the destructive alcohol infused crapfuel we get from the pumps here now... I have personally used both Caswell and Powerplus with a 100% success rate.... own stock in neither.. do not sell anything for a living and never have. I am just trying to be helpful around this place and I hope this helps. I like the GRAPE scented powerplus..... no kidding.... it mediates the eyeburn we feel around top fuel dragsters and leaves an interesting and pleasant smell behind you... have some fun with THAT! You WILL be asked.. "you put bananas in yer tank or something"?
  6. Yes I did.....Rosie is now in my garage....... and I feel lucky to have Her. A Stottlemyer Guzzi is an object of love and beauty.. he said to me.. "go ahead and take her for a ride.. you may not like her" Well now... One sweet cruise down the road and I decided he wasn't gonna be the owner anymore.... besides that, as you probably know.. he has an Aero powered Lario and an MZ Skorpion (I sold him) and a warmed up Nero Corsa he will bring back to Indiana... so he is certainly not without fascinating Guzzis around the place.... and he likes PERFORMANCE! So he is having ballerina agility fun on his Skorpion, Traveling fun on his Aero powered Lario..... and good V11 LeMans fun with his Nero Corsa coming to a Hoosier location soon. Come to MotoGp in Indy and have some fun with us.
  7. What a delightful bunch of literati smartasses I have fallen among as a result of retiring and being bitten hard on the ass by the giant Guzzibug in the sky... and there aint no cure to endure... except to ride more miles and have more smiles... my kinda guys... glad to be here among my birds of a feather, gettin" it together. As an old wise friend and mentor used to say... "We shall see" yup That old fart knew his stuff. Now it's my turn to try to be like him. Hillbilly motorhead silly seamus
  8. Ok now.... moving right along now. anyone coming to Indy for the MotoGP? If so.. localboy Bikeseamus here can maybe show you a good way to have a good day in"Kentuckiana" the Southern Indiana neighborhood... 17th Century Bavarian style hardwood forest is about 40 miles south of Indy and goes all the way into the Ohio River Valley on the north and south sides of the Ohio... Indiana route 66 is one sweet ride... among many others.... Ind. 135 up from Kentucky... the road from Bedford to Shoals to French Lick is sweet as pie for a good handling two lane unpopulated time turnback... and many others... should anyone want to get out and away from the "Main Vain" antfarm roads around Indy... which is a good way to have a ride... which resembles actually having a way to enjoy your bike... I can advise and guide you, as it is where I choose to live and ride... all cool and I do hope some of you choose to plan ahead for something like this. bye for now... I sold my 2000 Greenie to a good guy from Switzerland who cherishes it and appreciates it... so I had to immediately get a sweet as it gets 2003 Rosso Corsa that has been slightly warmed for the occasion.... and other occasions... along with an original paint ice blue T3 I will probably add onto to assemble an SP1000.. and a 1987 "Bitsa" made from various Guzzi bitsa this and bitsa that.... in any case... see ya all later.. I hope.
